Friendly and practical hostel with a great social atmosphere, young travelers, activities and easy opportunities to meet
Pros:

I had a really great stay here. The dorm room is quite small, but it is extremely well designed. The beds are very comfortable, the sheets are clean and good quality, and each bed has its own light and storage space underneath with an electronic lock, which is very practical.

The atmosphere is warm and social, and I was extremely well welcomed by the staff, who were always available and helpful. The common area is large, beautiful and very relaxing, with different spaces to chill, talk or work. The pool is also very pleasant, and there are activities organized for guests. It’s also possible to rent bicycles directly there. The location is also very pleasant and convenient.

The shower areas were also very clean, and the water was always hot. The toilets are really small though, which makes it a bit uncomfortable to get in and out.

The breakfast was honestly amazing — waffles, eggs, fruits, and very generous portions. I even could ask for more.

There is air conditioning in the dorm, and despite the small room, everything felt comfortable and optimized. We were only three people in the room, with separated beds divided by walls, which gave a bit more privacy.

The only thing to know is that the dorms are close to the common area, where there is music until around 10pm. But if people in your room are respectful and quiet, you can have a very good night’s sleep.

Cons:

Malhonnêteté et manque de sens morale. Un établissement qui en dit déjà long sur son éthique professionnelle. Suite à un problème de ferry reliant Nusa Penida de Gili Air, je n’ai pas pu me rendre sur l’île (conditions météorologiques non optimales). Ils doivent bien connaître ce problème et donc jouer avec le fait qu’ils ne veulent absolument pas faire preuve de compréhension afin d’empocher l’argent sans procéder à un quelconque remboursement même partiel. J’ai fait deux réclamations via le site booking, qui a tout mis en œuvre pour les raisonner, mais la encore refus.

Au vu de leur réaction non commerciale et humainement discutable, je ne recommande absolument pas de séjourné dans cet établissement.

(Je précise que cela fait plus d’un an que je voyage et qu’il m’est arrivé peut-être une ou deux fois d’être confronté à une situation similaire et qu’à chaque fois les établissements ont fait preuve de bonne foi et d’honnêteté)

Lively stay at Gili Air
Pros:

Very lively hostel. Met a lot of people and made friends. Ended up staying more time. Gili Air calls you in and its hard to leave. Great and friendly staff.

Cons:

It was a bit nosy for me, because I was in a more chilled vibe and not party vibe.

Pool, Bett war sauber, Personal war nett

Cons:

Es gibt gerade eine Baustelle, die meiner Ansicht nach den Pool unbrauchbar machr. Es ist super laut und staubt wie sonst was - Vielleicht habe ich auch einen sehr schlechten Zeitpunkt erwischt. Sie scheinen schnell zu arbeiten, damit es fertig wird.

Bin daher nach einem Tag abgereist. Die Leute dort waren nett aber mir hat es abgesehen davon ehrlich nicht gefallen. War nichts für mich.
