Sky Forest

We had an amazing experience! The cabana is built at the edge of the jungle - the view is just incredible, directly into the forest. It's a truly peaceful and beautiful location.

The room and the bathroom were very clean and well-maintained. Food was also very delicious.

A special mention to the host/caretaker, he was such a wonderful and friendly person. He welcomed us with a big smile and was very kind and helpful throughout.

Highly recommended for anyone looking for a calm, nature-filled getaway in Habarana. We will definitely be coming back again!

Wir haben uns in diesem Hotel von der ersten Minute an unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Der Manager war so ein lieber, herzlicher und aufmerksamer Mensch und hat uns unseren Aufenthalt mit seiner hilfsbereiten und freundlichen Art wirklich besonders gemacht. Er war jederzeit für uns da und hat uns bei allem weitergeholfen.

Besonders schön war auch das Abendessen, das er extra auf Bestellung für uns gekocht hat. Es war wirklich super lecker!

Die Lage mitten in der Natur, umgeben von Bäumen, ist einfach traumhaft. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist hier genau richtig.
Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen!

Die Baumbungalows sind Spitze. Einfach, komfortabel, sauber, ruhig. Das Essen wird frisch zubereitet und ist lecker.

Excelte atención por parte del dueño del establecimiento. Tanto los desayunos como las cenas han sido cocinados por el y estaban muy buenos. Las cabañas están en el medio de la naturaleza, alejadas de la carretera y ruido del centro.

Потрясающий отель посреди джунглей. Своя территория с обеденной зоной, качелью, местом для пикника. Прекрасно подойдет для тех, кто любит природу, все время вокруг поют птицы, летают бабочки, все цветет и пахнет.
Я вообще оказалась единственным гостем. Бронировала в конце марта на несколько дней, это у них считается не туристический сезон.
Но погода очень комфортная. Солнечно и не супер жарко. В домиках очень чисто, есть все необходимое.
Рекомендую бронировать с кондиционером, он гораздо комфортнее, и там панорамные окна с видом на зелень.
Ночами я залипала на звездное небо лежа в кровати. Вид с подушки открывается просто невероятный😍
Рекомендую сто процентов. Я осталась в восторге.
Хост в отеле - мужчина по имени Думинда, очень заботливый и внимательный, каждый день готовил вкусные завтраки, возил меня в город)
Атмосфера простой деревенской жизни, все очень по доброму, по семейному. Отличное место перезагрузиться и замедлиться😌

We stayed 5 nights at sky forest and had an amazing experience. The host provided delicious meals (we had dinner and breakfast there everyday) and he helped us plan and organise our day trips and travel.

We didnt stay in the treehouse, but we had a huge room with a lovely bathroom in a cosy cabin. We really felt at home ☺️

Si lo que buscas es tranquilidad y naturaleza, este es el lugar perfecto. El alojamiento está rodeado de selva, pero una valla eléctrica impide que puedan entrar animales.
Las casitas son amplias, con varios ventanales grandes desde los que solo ves naturaleza. No te esperes lujos, todo es muy sencillo, pero eso es lo que le da el encanto.
El aire acondicionado y el ventilador de techo funcionan muy bien y la nevera en la habitación es muy práctica para tener bebidas frescas a mano.
Duminde estuvo muy atento durante toda nuestra estancia, preparándonos desayunos abundantes y variados, consiguiéndonos una scooter y organizándonos tours por la zona.

Place - Calm and quiet place. Border of jungle. Near elephant fence. Nice place.
Room - Comfortable / Clean / Nice view / Bathroom clean / Ac work perfect and everything was nicely arranged.
Environment - Full of trees / Cold / Very quiet place.
Breakfast - Tasty / Value for money.
Host - A really nice person / Very friendly / He is taking care of everything very responsibly / again he is very friendly nice guy. Special thanks to him.
Recommendation - I recommend this place 100% to everyone. Really nice place.
Note - There some insects inside the room , but near the jungle you have to experience those things. Its not a big thing. A very nice place . 100% recommended.

I really loved this place. It was wonderful being nestled in the peace of nature next to the forest and surrounded by tranquility. My cabin was on a raised platform with a verandah overlooking the forest, and the room was really comfortable - I slept so well. The host was wonderfully kind and welcoming, and altogether the stay felt like a total treat. I would love to visit again someday.

We are a group of 5 catalans who stayed in two accommodations, one of which was up in a tree.

The experience has been fabulous, perhaps the best lodging in Sri Lanka.

Both houses were super clean, humble but very beautiful ✨

The surroundings were wild, and all you could hear were birds. We saw several animals.

The gentleman was always super attentive in every way. He prepared some amazing lunches for us and even better dinners. The owner cooked for us on the spot, and honestly, a 10!! It was delicious (one of the best places we’ve tried), tailored to our taste (in our case, without spice), and featuring typical local dishes.

Plus, the price was always very fair; at no point did we feel overcharged (there are many places that jack up prices when you’re a tourist).

A must-stay accommodation if you’re in the area!!

Sky Forest
Lovely hotel in the forest, away from the noise of the highway. We had a lovely big room on stilts, overlooking the forest. Lots of birds, lots of privacy, super balcony to watch nature passing by.
People are friendly, helpful and speak good English. The help in any way they can and organize walks in the vicinity. Meals are excellent.

The place was neat and clean..the staff is very helpful..And also the natural environment around us it's a great experience...

We spent 2 weeks traveling around Sri Lanka and this was our favorite place to stay. It was an incredible room with high ceilings, AC, ceiling fan, clean bathroom, great location, amazing food, and an amazing host. We were able to do our laundry there as well. The location was perfect for safaris as well as Sigiriya Rock and Dambulla. Did I mention how great the food was? Don't hesitate to stay here. It's a special place.
