Cons:

We would like to share some constructive feedback regarding our recent stay.

Unfortunately, the experience at the reception was not as welcoming or attentive as we expected. When we arrived, we requested front-side rooms and were told, “Okay, I will check,” but the response felt rather indifferent. A warm and helpful approach at the time of check-in would have made a much better first impression.

There were also a few basic room-maintenance issues that should ideally be checked before handing over rooms to guests. We had booked two rooms, and one towel in each room was torn. In one of the rooms, the TV was also not working.

One point that particularly stood out to us was the apparent difference in attention given to guests based on how they booked their rooms. We had made our reservation through Booking.com, whereas we noticed a walk-in guest being offered multiple room options and receiving considerably more attention from the reception staff. This gave us the impression that guests booking through online platforms may be treated differently from direct bookings.

We fully understand that room availability and allocation can vary, but every guest should ideally feel equally valued, irrespective of whether the booking is made directly or through Booking.com/Agoda or any other platform.

The hotel has good potential, and these are relatively small things that can make a significant difference to the guest experience. We would strongly recommend improving the attentiveness of the reception team, checking room amenities and linen before check-in, and ensuring a consistent level of service for all guests.

We hope the management takes this feedback in the right spirit, as these improvements can genuinely make the overall stay much more pleasant for future guests.

Excellent
Pros:

Last time we had our breakfast, but this time we were in hurry and wanted to catch a train, so we packed our luggage before the breakfast time. To our surprise the reception person requested us to have at least a cup of tea. It was wonderful reception.

Pros:

The location is excellent and right in the center, the rest of the stay was very disappointing.

Cons:

The hotel is quite old, and the "renovations" do not match the standards shown on Booking.com. Most concerning was the hygiene; the bedsheets and pillows had a noticeable smell. The food and overall facilities are simply not up to the mark. A 7/10 rating is misleading for this property; it realistically should be a 3 or 4 so that future guests have a better understanding of what to expect.
