Alles prima. Leider war Heimatfest und es war doch draußen ein bisschen laut, wofür das Hotel nichts kann.
Aber Ohrstöpsel lagen neben dem Bett bereit.

Schlichtes Hotel in guter Lage
Pros:

Das Haus ist noch ein echtes Hotel, mit Personal und Frühstück, was in dieser Zeit schon rar ist. Die Lage ist gut, mitten im Zentrum. Parkplätze sind vor der Tür, nachts kostenlos. Falls erwünscht, bekommt man über das Hotel Rabatt auf der Tiefgarage. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und kompetent. Das Zimmer ist recht spartanisch, aber hat alles, was man braucht. Das Frühstück ist gut.

Gut, und sehr zentral gelegen.
Pros:

Etwas ungewöhnlich: Wer per Auto kommt, sollte in die REWE-Tiefgarage links neben dem Hoteleingang fahren, von dort gibt es Fahrstuhl mit direktem Zugang zum Hotel. Der große Platz am Hotel bietet diverse Einkaufs- und Essmöglichkeiten. Frühstück war gut, allerdings nicht übertrieben.

Tolles, sehr sauberes Hotel in perfekter Lage mit superfreundlichem Personal!
Pros:

Das Hotel Alberga liegt sehr zentral direkt in Mettmann. Restaurants und Bars sind fußläufig erreichbar. Ein Rewe und ein DM liegen direkt nebenan.
Parken kann man im Rewe Parkhaus kostenfrei von 16-10Uhr (Abstempelung im Hotel), ansonsten kostet die erste Stunde 1,50€, jede weitere 1,-€.
Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Und was mir besonders wichtig ist: das Bett war sehr bequem.
Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr liebevoll hergerichtet und die Auswahl sehr gut.
Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Und was soll ich zum Service sagen? Mein Sohn hatte im Schrank seine Jacke und eine Jeans liegenlassen. Beides wurde uns in einem Päckchen nach Hause geschickt. Nicht einmal das Porto sollten wir erstatten. Vielen Dank nochmal dafür!
Sollten wir wieder in Mettmann übernachten, dann gerne wieder im Hotel Alberga!

Angenehm und gastfreundlich
Pros:

Das nette, kleine Hotel mitten in Mettmann hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend telefonisch eingewiesen (ein Krankheitsfall verhinderte die Besetzung der Rezeption). Wir hatten ein perfektes Doppelbett (riesig) und ein sehr gutes Frühstück mit allem Drum und Dran und haben uns in dem - leider sehr kurzen - Aufenthalt sehr wohl gefühlt.

Cons:

Wie fast in jedem Hotel mangelt es auch hier an Aufhängemöglichkeiten für benutzte Handtücher
