Good choice of cereal, traditional breakfast was perfectly cooked
We found the mattress on the bed hard, but that is a personal preference, not a criticism of the facilities. Nothing compares to your own bed at home ..

I returned to my room a little before midnight and struggled to get to sleep as there was noise in the room next to mine. This went on until 1 am and probably later; when I fell asleep I could still hear talking and laughter.
Some stains were found on the pillow cases and water leaked through the shower booth
The Cumbrian Lodge is a warm, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay. The owner, Paul, and his family are incredibly kind and attentive to their guests. The room was lovely, with beautiful views through the rooftop windows.
There is also a guest room with cutlery, a microwave, and other facilities that guests are welcome to use, which is very convenient. I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend the Cumbrian Lodge!
This place was amazing. The room was perfect and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. I came here to hike, and unfortunately my driver cancelled 5 minutes before pickup time both before leaving the Cumbrian lodge, as well as leaving me stranded in the mountains cancelling, again, 5 minutes before pickup. One of the owners, Paul, absolutely saved the day, saved my trip, and might’ve just saved me while being stranded without access to any taxis!! He not only drove me to the mountain, but drove me all the way back from the mountain on such short notice when I messaged him explaining what had happened. He’s an absolute legend and the place was beyond exceptional, conveniently located next to a corner store and within walking distance to the beach. Will be staying again for sure!

Very close to the beach and not too far from the mountains, which we came for. Place very clean. Staff were fantastic, great advice and always ready to help

Bedding clean and nice towels
Head board was against the internal wall with stairs running up it so could hear and feel every time a door banged and people went up or down the stairs. Shower was very tired and water pressure very low.

Los dueños son encantadores, la informacion del pueblo, sus restaurantes, que hacer, etc..., te sentias como en casa, te permiten utilizar los salones con microondas, por si llevas cena, etc... un jardin muy bien cuidado.
