Comfortable and convenient stay to visit family in the area.
Pros:

The breakfast was very good with selfservice cereals, juices etc and then choice of full English or other combinations. The room was west facing so with a view of the sea.

Cons:

For the money the room was on the small size but was equipped and serviced well.

Beautiful lodge in a quirky but quiet seaside village
Pros:

The lodge was lovely and clean, bedroom was a good size, comfortable sleep, ensuite was spotless with good shower. Didn't even hear the guests above us.
The owner was there to greet us when we arrived, showed us where everything was and gave us ideas for places to eat and walk.
Parking onsite as well as garden area for sitting.
The downstairs area is converted into a lounge/bar area with a TV, sofa, tables and chairs, fridge, glasses etc and we spent the evening chilling and chatting with other guests over a glass of wine.
Breakfast was a good size full english, with additional juices, cereals, pastry, fruit and yoghurt. Really lovely, friendly lady, bent over backwards to accommodate my food allergy which meant having to cook in separate pans etc whilst on her own feeding 7 rooms.

Cons:

The lodge itself was beautiful and faultless. 5/5.
Only gave 4/5 for the location as there is a lack of any kind of entertainment locally other than a nice beach to walk on (if you dont mind a giant nuclear disposal factory blotting the beautiful scenery) and there is a chippy next to the beach. Nearest pub/sit down restaurant is in Gosforth (6 minute drive) and stops serving at 8.30pm every night. Other than that its coop sandwiches.

Perfect location, friendly staff.
Pros:

Perfect location, just as the picture which made it easy to find. Owners met us on arrival helped with luggage and introduced us to the area, very friendly.

Cons:

The rooms were quite small, beautifully decorated just a bit snug. We booked a deluxe double and the bedside table didn’t fit next to the bed! There also are quite a few stairs, we were on the first floor, I believe larger rooms were in the second but the owners took into our request for least stairs. It wasn’t bad to get up the stairs and as I said they did the luggage for us which made a massive difference.
