Hotellet ligger lidt væk fra vejen midt i junglen. Det er velholdt, og værelserne er store og komfortable. Det er skønt at slappe af ved poolen. Servicen er upåklagelig, og alle var hjælpsomme, smilende og venlige. Restauranten er overraskende god - omend den naturligvis er marginalt dyrere end de små alternativer i lokalområdet. Vi valgte at spise flere af vores måltider på hotellet - simpelthen fordi det var nemt og godt. De serverer også gode drinks. Hotellet ligger i perfekt afstand til Sigiriya-klippen og elefantsafari ved Minneriya. Hotellet har tidligere fået dårlige anmeldelser pga. langsomt WiFi, men der er installeret et nyt system, som fungerer upåklageligt.

This was a fantastic hotel, the pool and grounds are incredible and the rooms are very large, clean and quiet. There is a nice restaurant area where you can play games, and an area for a fire pit and a tree house. Lovely setting with wildlife and monkeys around the property. Really incredible value for money as slightly out of town but you can visit the small Sigiriya village which is just a short tuk tuk away. (You can order one easily to the property).
We also loved Lassie the hotels Tuk Tuk driver, who also took us on a bike ride through the countryside and was knowledgeable about wildlife. We booked to go to the rocks with Lassie, who drove us and picked us up and we detoured into town so we could eat lunch & dinner. Overall a great 3 nights at the start of the trip and we highly recommended Pidurangula rock at sunset!
The food was okay at the restaurant- could be better. Recommend eating dinner in town one night. You could feel a bit cut off / isolated but just order a tuk tuk to get around. The hotel is amazing value, pool was beautiful and great for families. Our kids loved the dogs who were very friendly.

Le service au restaurant est un petit peu long.

Niet van toepassing
Mooi zwembad met grote ruime kamers die op verzoek werden schoongemaakt. Goed werkende airco en rustig gelegen. Bij het restaurant kon je echt wel lekker eten. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk, altijd bereid om te helpen. De wifi werkte overal zeer goed We zouden zeker terugkomen!
Niet iedereen van het bedienend personeel sprak of verstond goed Engels.

Great stay at Into the Wild - rooms are large for Sri Lanka and very clean, beds super comfy, nice pool area and the hotel is located in the middle of the wild. Very peaceful and the staff is very helpful in arranging all trips and attractions around Sigiriya. Would definitely stay there again!
Honesty nothing - it’s a bit further away to the town so you need a tuk tuk ride of 10 minutes to get to the street with all restaurants etc.
Heel fijne plek, fijne kamer en prachtige tuin met restaurant. Zeker een aanrader! Personeel was heel behulpzaam toen een van ons ziek werd (door lunch in een ander dorp). Leuk dat je in de ochtend je ontbijtje kan kiezen.

De vriendelijkheid en gastvrijheid van het personeel. Een hele fijne en relaxte plek om te verblijven met een heerlijk zwembad waar je tot 22.30 uur in mag zwemmen. Hele fijne douches en mooie kamers.

We asked for a early breakfast but got only 1 small sandwich and 1 sandwich with jam and butter. No juice at all. Even though breakfast is included. Not enough as a breakfast. Other things are good.
