Great breakfast, spacious room, good location. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful.
Bed not that comfy. The room was too hot as it had no fan or AC and no USB ports in the room. One of the staff during breakfast was quite unfriendly and made sarcastic comment when we arrived slightly early for breakfast.
The location took a bit longer to walk, the view of where the hotel is was lovely. The breakfast was lovely too and the breakfast staff were very helpful as well.
I would like to thank the Reception staff for helping me with my queries.
Location good
Clean room
Good breakfast
Tired decor needs updating, hotel must have been amazing in it's time lovely building
The Stamdard Family Room bathroom is very small. Approx 8 feet by 2-2.5 feet. Very uncomfortable to use it.
Convineant
On arrival we werent informed the restaurant was closed for 2 nights...we only found out when we went to the restaurant to eat....very poor communication
wide choice for breakfast to suit everyone's tastes.
Serving staff in general were very attentive
The garden is an important feature but its general presentation has been worsening each year from my first visit over ten years ago. Clearly the current dry weather has left the lawn parched, killed the blades of grass and exposing a 'TON' of discarded fag butts, more ashtrays might help, but customers are generally careless.
I didn't stay it was cancelled bye the hotel 24th June
Well stocked self service breakfast buffet. Comfortable bed. Very helpful and friendly reception staff
The bed very comfy room clean the lounge and bar staff breakfast very good
The shower mouldy
The staff were terrific. Genuinely. The night porter gentlemen was fabulous, and the receptionist (with light brown/blondish hair) and one of the ladies in the restaurant (with a cool style and bubbly personality)- they were all great.
The room was fine and clean also.
I booked a balcony room and paid a bit extra for it but the table and chairs were dirty with bird poop that had been there a while and the balcony floor was dirty was didn't get to enjoy it so well
The breakfast provided plenty of choice and was generous. The staff at breakfast were cheerful, friendly and attentive.
The hotel met my expectations, being affordable, well-located and with excellent parking facilities.
I had a single room with a sea view, but it was a very odd shape, with an excellent bathroom but a radiator running parallel to the bed that marred the comfort aspect a little. There was a sea view but I did not make the most of it owing to the weather during my particular stay.
Location excellent
Little bit run down, breakfast not hot
Everything
Nothing
Although there was a slight mix-up in providing a twin bed room, we were given a room upgrade and a free drink to compensate, which was very generous of them.
A minor point and suggestion - the bathroom ventilation system struggled as there was no window
