Hotel war überbucht und man hat uns wieder weggeschickt

Sehr enttäuschender Aufenthalt. Wir wurden in den Tagen vor der Anreise mehrfach gebeten, einer Änderung unseres gebuchten Aufenthaltsdatums zuzustimmen, was wir jeweils abgelehnt haben. Kurz vor der Anreise wurde zudem behauptet, unsere Kreditkartendaten seien falsch – obwohl diese korrekt waren.

Als wir schließlich mit dem Taxi ankamen, wurde uns an der Rezeption mitgeteilt, dass unsere Reservierung nicht vorhanden sei und das Hotel ausgebucht bzw. überbucht sei. Eine wirkliche Lösung oder Unterstützung wurde uns nicht angeboten. Wir standen letztlich mit unserem Gepäck in der Lobby und mussten selbst kurzfristig ein anderes Hotel organisieren.

Wenn ein Hotel überbucht ist, sollte dies aus unserer Sicht rechtzeitig und transparent mit dem Gast geklärt werden. Einen Gast trotz bestehender Reservierung einfach bei der Ankunft abzuweisen und anschließend weitgehend sich selbst zu überlassen, ist jedenfalls äußerst unbefriedigend. Leider absolut keine Empfehlung.

Pros:

I had a wonderful 4-day stay at this hotel in Djerba and enjoyed it so much that I wanted to extend my stay for another 2 days, but unfortunately, the hotel was fully booked. I would especially like to thank Mme. Naoual, the hotel director, for her kindness and professionalism. I loved the room, the food, and the overall atmosphere. I had a very pleasant experience and will definitely come back next summer. Highly recommended!
