The room had a bath not just a shower.
Didn't bother with this
Not to be repeated as we had no sleep due to noise
To be fair we didnt stay due to the appalling twin beds that we didnt stay long enough to sleep on!!
After having paid the full amount upon arrival to then be shown to our room to then briefly sit upon the beds after a 3hour journey we then realised that "Sleeping" here!
Getting our money back did not come easy as initially we were met with resistance!
Perhaps the bedrooms within the main building were better but that wasnt an option for us.
The staff themselves were really nice as before we left we decided to have a bite to eat before we headed for a premier inn!!
So if you are offerred a room within the Annexe the be advised to check out the rooms before you pay for it!
As i said the beds were the main bug bear but im afraid to say that the Annexed building didnt feel welcoming at all.
Super handy for our walk along the Forth and Clyde canal. Staff were really friendly and the breakfast was amazing - really good value for money
Just be aware that it is really loud and you hear everyone coming and going. The doors all slam so make sure you pack earplugs! The accommodation is just starting to look a bit dated, but it was clean and the staff were lovely
Location

Scenic area and the food was excellent and reasonably priced.
Nothing
Lovely location by canal basin. Very comfortable bed. Lovely breakfast
Room was quite dark and needed some extra lamps especially by the mirrors. Outside door banged quite loudly when people came and went, which woke us up a couple of times.
Lovely setting and location
The bed was uncomfortable
Views were nice. Size of room good. Good for pets. Breakfast was good.
Cleaning standard was poor, shower hot water was poor had to ask 3 times to get it sorted.
Moved room which was also not the cleanest.
Bathroom door didn't shut. There was noise all night.
Dinner in restaurant was terrible 😫.
Great location on John Muir Way. Food was very good and staff were pleasant and appropriately attentive.
Extractor fan in bathroom wasn’t working.
Rooms comfortable, staff freindly and food excellent
The ensuite room was not very clean and desparatly is needing a refurbishment. I told the manager this on departure.
Clean and modern room, comfortable bed.
The knocking/banging sound in the night, from what I assume was the boiler….
Views and having social activities within the area. Bar on site
No staff after 11.00pm for guests
Nothing, it was poor standard
It was dusty, handle missing from fridge cupboard door and placed in a drawer, and very noisy
The Assistant Manager was very informative and helpful. She was also nice and chatty, which we loved. The food was great value for money and a nice clean pub.
We thought the room was very expensive, given the location. It was more expensive than a night in an apartment in Glasgow
Location is quiet and relaxed, rooms are clean and functional with excellent facilities in the bar downstairs for evening dinner and breakfast
Only one comment, could do with bigger TVs in the room but wouldn’t affect my decision to stay again
