Location, staff and comfort
Room was a little stale in terms of smell however it was comfy. Just open a wee window.
Location was lovely overlooking the river and boats. Staff friendly and helpful Restaurant good. Good size room
Room quite dark as only a small window. Bed very hard. Shower screen didn't close properly so water went onto the floor
Food in restaurant was nice
Staff were lovely
I booked a lake view, on check in was told they didnt know we had a dog,
I showed my messages to the hotel stating we had a dog.
Manager told me it wasn't a problem, its just booking.com hadn't forwarded this information to them.
Went to the room and disappointed that we had a view of the carpark
Im taking a wild guess they did know we had a dog and decided to ignore the fact we had paid for the lake view and give us a lower graded room instead.
I need to check if there is a price difference which I will be doing now
Because of our health issues a continental style breakfast would have suited us better. But the staff were very accommodating in adjusting the menu to suit our needs. Big thank you to them.
Unfortunately there was only the disabled room available which was fine except for the sink in bathroom which was too low and too small and the large tap made it very inconvenient to wash.
Auswahl von der Karte, schön angerichtet, freundliches Personal, schöne Aussicht auf Wohnboote Hafen
Der "Hintereingang" sieht nicht so einladend aus. Das könnte man vielleicht hübscher machen.
Check in was easy. The staff were great. Dinner and breakfast were fantastic. Free parking was good.
The bed was not comfortable. The screen on the shower sat off the side of the tub so after two showers the floor was very wet. The main entrance door closed heavily so often slammed when other guests came and went during the night.
Beautiful setting, nice bar and restaurant, comfortable room
Fridge wasn't working, firm mattress
Lovely view friendly polite staff
Room was dated
we had cycled 45 miles to reach the hotel, the room was clean and tidy the beds were very comfortable and the bathwater wonderfully hot. Food dinner and breakfast were great. Weather wet
the weather
Lovely hotel, nice food, room was clean, with a canal view.
Very peaceful
Great service, beautiful location, nice and quiet
Handy location for croy station. Easy to get to glasgow or Edinburgh. Room was clean with comfy beds and a good shower. Staff were friendly and the food was good, especially breakfast. X
Decor was a bit dated and you could hear some noise from the corridors. But didn't spoil our enjoyment.
