Disappointing
Pros:

The location in relation to town meant we could walk easily to the River Walk and to explore the town on foot.
Bed was comfortable and modernised bathroom was good.
Food at the hotel was good,

Cons:

The room was very small and pokey and had only one tiny window, but the block out blind on that window did not adequately cover and block out the very bright outdoor lighting at night. Being adjacent to the beer garden and the rear entrance to the hotel meant it was very noisy in the room, especially on Friday night. The room was not serviced on the first day, but towels were replaced when we asked later in the day - but used ones were not removed.

Comfortable but could do better with ambiance and helpfulness.
Pros:

Comfortable bed.

Cons:

Unable to open any windows.
Outside impressions poor due to broken bench seat outside the door, unkemp surroundings.
The place looked tired.
Gentleman we met at reception didn't know much about the town. Didn't seem to know his location on the map but together we worked it out. Told us to go to the information bureau then next day.

The location of the hotel was ok

Cons:

Receptionist could have been a little more friendly and helpful when asked for something to be fixed the bed was so soft you sank into it and couldnt get out, the coffee cups were not washed or replaced after the first night, nothing supplied to do yourself. our room was right next to the beer garden where people were smoking outside our room and the smell kept coming in through the toilet window, and was extremely loud while trying to rest.

Very disappointed.
Pros:

Good position. Restaurant on site.

Cons:

Room very basic. Not one drawer. Just hanging space no cupboards. Tv on the wall but remote missing so no entertainment. Called manager. No answer for over an hour. Was told it was there somewhere and search as often hidden. Staff member turned up and couldn’t find it. Went to bed in disgust. No microwave, no toaster, no knife.

Clean, convienient and the team members we met were all excellent and accomodating. The food at the pub was also great.

Everything! The two free drinks was a lovely surprise too!
