Really beautiful hotel that was perfect for a get away with friends

We loved Alderney, the blonde hedgehog was lovely except the noise at the top although managed to mitigate the noise by

The room was so dark that we did not want to spend any time in there.

Cons:

I booked a suite which was clearly described as having a separate bedroom, this is important because I don’t sleep well and can disturb my partner. There was no separate bedroom, merely a seating area. The room was right on the road and the cobbled roads made vehicle noise a nuisance. The room was decorated in a very particular style and was extremely dark throughout. Even with all the lights on it was simply depressing to be in the room. Also there were a number of diffusers creating an unpleasant smell. I suspect that to a particular audience this room would be wonderful, but I don’t believe it works at all for the general hotel staying population..

Looking forward to another visit.
Pros:

Fantastic welcome from Jack, lovely team throughout the hotel & restaurant. Food best I ate in a week touring the Channel Islands, including others at more than twice the price. Room every convenience, fresh, clean, comfortable.

Cons:

Almost impossible to fault! Here you go, trying very hard to find something which might be improved, the bench seating to the side of the restaurant is slightly too low to comfortably mate up with the dining tables! It really is that good!

Lovely room, beautiful garden, fabulous food
Pros:

Breakfast excellent, great room with really good in room amenities. Fresh milk for tea/coffee was an unexpected treat as were the amazing biscuits.Great position in the town, central but quiet.

Top Aufenthalt auf Alderney
Pros:

Wir bekamen ein upgrade in eine sehr geräumige und wunderschön eingerichtete Suite. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und der Garten hinter dem Gebäude perfekt um sich bei einem kühlen Getränk zu erholen. Wir können es nur empfehlen!
