Sunset Beach

The owner was very lovely. The food was a lot that we couldn't finish all of it. The upper bungalows had an amazing view. The accomodation was the only one on the part of the island and we were alone in the accomodation the one day. We really felt like robinson crusoe. Was a wonderful stay.

Die Lage und die Ausflüge die die Unterkunft anbietet sind einfach richtig toll. Strom und Internet stehen zur Verfügung. Mobil laden ist über eine Autobatterie im Zimmer immer möglich. Gute Idee. Auch hat Irina Vorkehrungen getroffen Plastikbox um Seife usw. zu sicher, damit keine Ratten oder sonstige Tiere ins Zimmer kommen. Das Bett verfügt über ein Moskitonetz. Es gibt ke9n fließendes Wasser. Das Wasser frisch kommt aus einer Quelle. Das Essen ist auch dementsprechend einfach Fisch oder vegetarisch meistens Omelett auf Wunsch aber wirklich sehr lecker. Alles sehr einfach aber funktionell da im Dschungel. Kein Komfort wer das möchte ist hier falsch. Aber jede Menge Natur.

Famiglia molto accogliente. Cibo semplice, ma buono. Immerso nella natura.

Ici le temps s est arrêté, il y a longtemps ! Aucun confort moderne pas d eau courante…Électricité minimum….pas de wifi pas de 4G ! Une parenthèse hors du temps …
Le coucher de soleil est magnifique vue de la plage privée.
Irina est adorable, au petit soin, les excursions proposées sont vraiment sympas.
Irina est arrangeante et peut vous aider à boucler la suite de votre voyage en réservant ferry ou speedbot !
Même si à l arrivée nous avons été surpris par le côté rudimentaire du site nous avons passé 6 jours au top hors du temps !
Les repas sont copieux.

Tout était parfait de A à Z, la gérante s’occupe de vous à la perfection, il y a différentes activités proposées et à des prix très correct, la cabane est super avec vue sur la mer depuis le hamac, et on mange très très bien.
Elle s’arrange pour nous récupérer et nous ramener au port et gratuitement, ce qui est top !

This is a great place to relax and really enjoy the Togian Islands.
If you are looking for a 5-star resort, this is not your place. But if you are looking for an immersive experience on the islands in the middle of nature, you'll love this place.

You are right in the jungle with a full beach just for the few guests this accomodation can host.
And still, you'll have power the whole day thanks to a scooter-battery system working with solar energy.
You'll have internet coverage just a couple of minutes walk behind the accomodation.
You can walk 10-15 Min to reach a real Togian village.

Meals are simple but very good. All three meals are included. Water, tea and coffee are available for free the whole day.

You'll shower with fresh water taken from a source nearby by boat every day.

You'll be sleeping under mosquito nets, so during the night you won't be bothered by animals. Don't worry.

Trips on their traditional boat around the Togians are cheap, compared to other accommodation.
They'll pick you up from Wakai for free.

A special thank to Irina (the Russian lady) managing any kind of things for guests. She's been living there for many years and gives you a little western touch together with the Indonesian family.

Sunset Beach was ideally located on a very private, quiet part of the island. There were a limited number of rooms, so there was no chance of being overwhelmed by other tourists. The beach was clean and the waters were exceptionally warm and clear with lovely coral reefs, which we were able to explore thanks to the snorkel and goggles supplied by the owner.
The owner was helpful and reliable and organized day trips and the speedboat to Ampana when we left the Island. If it’s a basic getaway you’re after Sunset Beach would suit.

Die Unterkunft liegt im Dschungel sowie direkt am Strand, es ist dort sehr ruhig und entspannt. Die äußerst freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeberin schafft eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und man fühlt sich wie zuhause. Zum Essen gibt es lokale Spezialitäten und frisch gefangenen Fisch, mega lecker. Ich komme gern wieder.

Owner isn’t on premises in off season, but Captain Milton and his wife Nawa were great. We loved the pancakes and the snorkel trips (good masks provided). The sunset here is very nice. All the meals were good.

Irina est formidable, très attentive à notre bien-être, toujours de bon conseil. Très belle rencontre. Les repas sont copieux et variés.

An incredibly beautiful small beach.
If you need a total escape, this might be a good location. Bring a friend or a book, since there's not much else to do.

Sunset Beach is an amazing place for those looking for a real, authentic experience. The bungalows are basic, but the location is unbeatable. Irina, the owner, is absolutely wonderful. Great food, great atmosphere, and excellent value for money. Highly recommended if you love simplicity and nature.

emplacement magnifique mais hotel totalement vetuste laissé à l'abandon. Pas de wifi comme annoncé sur booking.com ni internet. Électricité défaillante avec une batterie 12v. Le personnel qui vous accueille est très gentil mais vous laisse seul de 19h00 à 6h00 du matin. Repas pas terrible. Et il n'y a rien à faire sauf, voir passer les bateaux, contempler la mer et le coucher de soleil. Avis aux amateurs. A fuir si vous êtes seul

I liked the beach and i also liked how I could walk to the village at low tide instead of being trapped in the homestay. The owner is a lovely lady.
