I would love to come back one day.
Pros:

One of most charming places I’ve visited. The property has so much character with a 500-year-old dining room and beautiful rooms with the view of the mountains.
The staff is very welcoming, and we felt personally invited into their home. They offer excellent homemade wines for purchase and give good dinner recommendations. Breakfast was delicious and included homemade jams and fresh bread among other delicacies.

Montan ist eine Reise wert
Pros:

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub bei unserer Gastfamilie. In der Unterkunft haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wir kommen sicherlich bald wieder.
Es war eine gute Zeit, mit perfektem Frühstücksbüffet und schönen Gesprächen.

Südliches Flair im Kleinen.
Pros:

Die Unterkunft "Amplatz 1523" liegt sehr zentral in der kleinen Ortschaft Montan. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ keine Wünsche offen. Viele Sitzbereiche, wie die alte Bauernstube oder eine romantische Veranda laden zum Verweilen ein. Alle notwendigen Einrichtungen sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar (Lebensmittelladen, Bäckerei mit anschließendem Café, Bar....). Von Montan und der Unterkunft ist der Ausblick in das Etschtal wunderbar.
Der Anschluss zum Fleimstalradweg ist schön angelegt. Nicht versäumen sollte man Besuche in die kleinen Nachbarortschaften.

Wunderschön!
Pros:

Das Frühstück war köstlich, frischer Obstsalat, Kuchen, die wie selbst-gebacken schmecken, Feigen und Zwetschgen aus dem eigenen Garten und sehr guter Kaffee so viel man möchte. Neben Gebäck auch dunkles Brot, frische Blumen als Tischdeko - das Auge isst mit. Sehr sauber, sehr schöne Lage, Zimmer sind geschmackvoll eingerichtet, Matratzen sehr bequem, sehr guter Holzgeruch im Zimmer, alles extrem sauber. Die Hotel-Managerin war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Exzellente Lage, herrlicher Blick auf die Berge.

Cons:

Das Bett ist für große Menschen zu kurz (ich schätze 1,80m lang), ein zweites Kissen wäre angenehm, um im Bett zu lesen. Für Menschen mit einem leichten Schlaf könnte die Kirchenglocke nebenan störend sein.

Pros:

The hosts were wonderful and friendly. We got a lovely breakfast everyday. Everyone was so attentive to our needs. They had facilities to lock our bikes with a workshop. The room was clean and immaculate. Plus it was serviced daily. We definitely feel refreshed after such a relaxing beautiful stay. No complaints on our side highly recommend.
