Pros:

Very nice hotel near FFC with modern design and good facilities in the room. The staff is excellent. All of them are ready to help you in any questions: from ordering taxi to uploading needing apps and booking fine dining restaurants.

Generally not spectacular, and I might not repeat my visit

Tasteful design and stylish decors, particularly fond of the beautiful bouquet arrangements, very pleasant.

Cons:

Service, especially at Cafe Grey was not the same level as it used to be, as well not really representing a prestige hotel.

Runners (waiters) at Cafe Grey continuously mistaken my room package (I had a room without breakfast but 2 days in a road they told me my breakfasts are included)

I had drinks in the evening during my stay. My experience was - staff was not attentive, and most of them seem not experienced working in a hotel as such.

Extremely disappointed. Booked it because of the reviews from trip and booking.
It did not live up to the expectation as heard.

Location is really good undoubtedly. Architecture as well. One of the reasons why I booked it was for the architecture and the layout of the rooms.

On our first day of arrival rooms wasn’t functioning well. There was some outrageous sound coming from the right tap.
They did well sort it swiftly. But I realised the flooring persist squeaky sound that was unacceptable.

As the stay persisted the service definitely did not live up to expectations. Concierge doesn’t bother to greet. Bell boy was unprofessional. Lack of professionalism and lack of warmth. I do feel they treated guest who dressed better nicer and warmer in comparison to us. We didn’t expect the service crew to be this pragmatic and realistic. We weren’t told there is a dress code at the hotel. If there is we would have obliged to it.

On our departure I booked an Audi A7 to chauffeur me to the airport. As I was getting ready they prep me a merc e class instead.
When questioned all they said was it was a free upgrade.

Mate… it’s a similar segment car. Where comes the upgrade.

It’s a lovely property I hope management could really look into the problems of this hotel.

For the time being I will not return to any upper house properties.
