I've had better places to stay
Pros:

Staff were arguing and complaining upon my colleagues arrival. We were informed that parking close by was £5 per night however one car park was shut and the other was charging £15 per night. We also paid £100 per room as a deposit and still waiting to get this back so currently £300 out of pocket. Have tried to contact the hotel but now going through the bank and booking.com to get the money back. We wont be staying at this location again unless desperate

Cons:

Staff, communication

Pros:

Beds were comfortable and clean, close to all amenities this is not a dislike but you do have to pay £100 deposit on arrival for any damages to room it is refunded to you after they have check rooms. This is the second time ive had to pay a deposit so it must be something new.I have stayed here many times over the year's and im still returning 👍

Cons:

My only complaint is people slamming doors they are heavy doors but you can close them quietly and not let them slam but that has nothing to do with the hotel that is the people staying in those rooms

Room was very hot. On first day the shower malfunctioned, so the water was dangerously hot. TV was basic, and lacking interactive functionality.

Always a good welcome and a pleasant stay
Pros:

I stay at this well-known and historic Swansea hotel every time I visit my home city. It's clean, in an excellent location, rooms are decent and the staff are excellent- really professional and helpful. The cafe linked to the hotel is also good.

Cons:

Nothing!

Basic room for a basic price
Pros:

A simple room near both the train and bus stations. Does exactly as promised, a basic room with the stuff you need for the night for a low price.

Cons:

It gets warm in there and your only option is opening a window. The carpet is not in a great state and is wonky. The noise from outside of the room can be heard clearly. Curtains on the windows are only for privacy and don't block the light well.
