Family rooms can accommodate 2 adults and one child, or 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms are not suitable for more than 2 adults.
The credit/debit card used to book a pre-paid rate must be presented to reception on arrival at the hotel. Please note that failure to do so will result in an alternative payment method being required.
Please be aware that some restaurants including Spey Burger at Macdonald Aviemore Resort will be seasonal, but at least one of our restaurants will be open during low season
For guests staying on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package you can enjoy a £25 spend towards food in one of our restaurants. "Children aged 12 and under can stay and take breakfast for free when sharing a suitable room with two adults. Child dinner will be charged separately dependent on menu chosen"

Please be aware that Thunder in the Glens event will be taking place on resort from the 22nd - 24th August 2025 inclusive. This event will cause elevated noise levels due to being a motorcycle event, and there will also be live music being played around the resort until late evening.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Alle faciliteiten zijn gratis naast de kamer. Dat is tof en het ligt tegenover het treinstation.
Overmatig veel kleine kinderen en aan één kant van het hotel een supermarkt die bevoorraden in de nacht. Hierdoor een slechte nacht gehad maar het hotel heeft het heel goed opgelost.

The beds were very comfortable, breakfast was nice and room was nice .
The hotel misleads customers as it states online that there is a pool which isn't true as the pool is next to the Highland hotel , the pool is used by 3 hotels . It states that there is a highland fish bar in this hotel which isn't true it hasn't been open for a long time so there is no restaurant in this hotel you have to go to highland hotel if you want food . The bar in hotel is not open at night if it isn't busy , myself and my mum arrived on Tues for 3 nights and the bar was closed at 7 , we went to town to eat , the only good thing about this hotel its beside the town and shops . The bathroom was really small and we burned our arms from the tower rail as it was roasting hot all the time and it's really close to you when you go in to the shower . This will be the first and last time we will go there .
Spacious rooms and lots of facilities. All staff were very professional and friendly.
More coffee sachets and toilet rolls inside the rooms for larger parties would be appreciated.
The location for landmark adventure centre
The rooms extremely noisey, camp bed with springs poopoo h out no pillows cases on x3 pillows , towels with homes and rags hanging from it very dated room
The location next to the station is very convenient. Lots for the kids to do in the hotel and of course in the surrounding area. The pool with the slide and the wave machine was a particular favourite.
From the outside the buildings look pretty tired. Inside was a better story thankfully (although the interior designer went a little overboard on the tartan!)

The room was not clean properly, garbage was stuck beside the sofa bed and the bathroom was not that clean
Hotel was nice and central though felt the website didn't give enough information
Our rooms were too far apart. No information about where to eat on the complex. Little information about the leisure centre
The facilities were amazing... enough to keep children amused indoors and outdoors
Grass sledging was pricey and cash only.. thankfully another mother gave me the money for my daughter as I had no cash and the staff there wasn't very helpful.
Fold out bed could have benefited from a mattress topper for comfort.
Location and amenities were great.
We fell ill through the night. I asked for room service to save us spreading our germs but couldn’t get that. Asked for bottles of water but they didn’t have a key for the fridges.
The basin waste didn’t work properly and kept sticking so we couldn’t empty the sink.
