Family rooms can accommodate 2 adults and one child, or 2 adults and 2 children. The rooms are not suitable for more than 2 adults.
The credit/debit card used to book a pre-paid rate must be presented to reception on arrival at the hotel. Please note that failure to do so will result in an alternative payment method being required.
Please be aware that some restaurants including Spey Burger at Macdonald Aviemore Resort will be seasonal, but at least one of our restaurants will be open during low season
For guests staying on a Dinner, Bed and Breakfast package you can enjoy a £25 spend towards food in one of our restaurants. "Children aged 12 and under can stay and take breakfast for free when sharing a suitable room with two adults. Child dinner will be charged separately dependent on menu chosen"

Please be aware that Thunder in the Glens event will be taking place on resort from the 22nd - 24th August 2025 inclusive. This event will cause elevated noise levels due to being a motorcycle event, and there will also be live music being played around the resort until late evening.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Locatie goed als uitvalsbasis. Zwembad was okay. Ontbijt redelijk uitgebreid.
Dit is echt vergane glorie. Volgens mij zijn ze 15 jaar geleden gestopt met onderhoud en investeren. Winkels en restaurants stralen uit alsof ze er geen zin meer in hebben. Geen airco op de kamer, lift werkt halve tijd en gym waarmee ze adverteren is permanent gesloten..
Breakfast was good.
Pool changing room was a bit dirty. Toddler pool was cold. Carpet in room was dirty. Sofa bed was dirty and dusty and very squeaky to sleep on. Requested a travel cot that wasn't in the room on arrival and had to wait 1 hour for it.
Lovely staff
We found it difficult to find anywhere to eat at 8.45pm so ended up with a carry out.
So book a dinner reservation ahead of arrival and arrive before 8.30!
We thought we had booked the hotel with the pool but we were actually in a different one.

Location
Dogs allowed into the rooms and fur left everywhere.
Breakfast was perfect, couldn’t have asked for more. It was great having a swimming pool.
Servicing rooms was done later in the day when we were back to relax so told the staff just to leave our rooms.
Also it would have been nice to have a separate quieter lounge/bar where you could escape the kids.
Pool and location was nice
Ready for an update , pull out bed was uncomfortable,lift didn’t work as it should and not munch vegetarian options.

My wife is disabled and the lift wasn’t working we were on the third floor was told on the first night we arrived

Breakfast
The staff were awful and 1 was actually on a job interview on his phone behind the bar as customers were waiting to be served. He gave me my 2nd pint in the glass I gave him even though there was some left over. Very very few Scottish workers and bed clothing were ripped badly. We had no remotes for the 2 televisions in the room so the could only give us 1 which turned 1 on and instantly turned other 1 off. A pint of perroni is just under £8 which is disgusting. Ice skating in resort is £15 per adult!!!! Worst break we've had by far!!!!
