Clean and big space, free bag of wood

Cons:

Lack of a mirror in the bedroom was disappointing. whole family had to use a tiny mirror in the bathroom. Pillows were very old and worn out.

We loved our time at Arminel and we will definitely be back.
Pros:

We loved our stay. The cottage was well equipped and very comfortable. The gardens are beautiful and our children loved the swimming pool and jungle gym.

Cons:

We stayed in cottage 1 and the floors were very slippery, Im not sure if they have been over polished. The floors were also VERY noisy when walking on them so at night it was difficult with our small children as they would wake up if we needed to move around the rooms or to the bathroom.

Good - but make sure your geyser in on!
Pros:

Nice facilities.

Cons:

Staff never switched the geyser on for our unit! Stayed there for a wedding and couldn't shower later that evening. In the morning I managed to find the geyser switch and had a lukewarm shower before I left.

Wonderful Forest Cottage in a Beautiful Location !
Pros:

We really enjoyed the wonderful Forest Cottage. The interior was beautiful and homely, including the nice fireplace. The surrounding was really stunning and well-maintained (except for the pool). The beds were absolutely comfortable and the electric blankets were definitely appreciated, the bathroom was stunning. Our Forest Cottage was very clean.
We truly enjoyed the privacy, and the quiet & relaxing atmosphere.

Cons:

In my opinion we paid a substantial rate compared to other accommodation options in Hogsback. I think the prices for the Arminel Self catering Cottages have to be adjusted, as a lot of facilities can not be used anymore for example the Restaurant was closed and the pool in the resort was not well maintained at all.
Furthermore I would suggest an access-control at the main-gate of the Arminel Resort, as everybody could just press a button to enter.

Pros:

Visited Hogsback for a wedding. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Fireplace and electric blankets were welcomed. Arminel is centrally situated and staff are friendly and helpful.
