This was my second stay here. My last night in town upon return from Pahalgam and before leaving for Delhi.
I was welcomed with great warmth.
And my two little suggestions in the previous review were taken care of!!!
Excellent breakfast! The kitchen serves delicious food.
These are just some suggestions, not complaints:
I was surprised that there was no apple in the fruit platter. The hotel might also want to include some local bread from the traditional bakeries.
The staff was excellent. The manager Javaid Ji was great and went out of his way to assist. All of the staff were very nice and helpful.
A little expensive for India but still a good value.
Staff was very friendly.
Floors and bathroom were clean. Walls not so. Very disturbing "spots" on the wall by the desk... single men enjoying them selves...
The restaurant is above the 3. floor. Extremely noisy when they close for the evening. Draging furniture across the floor... at midnight.
The breakfast was probably good for Indians. Not so much for foreigners. The boilt eggs were most likely boilt for 30 minutes....
Maintenance is none existing. Noise from reataurant.
The room service and housekeeping is excellent. The staff is always smiling and happy to help. Breakfast is basic but everything is well made. I would have been happier if my request for plain parantha was fulfilled as there was aloo parantha on the menu.

The view of the lake from the room and the restaurant is really nice. The restaurant is on the fourth floor, is spacious with inside and outside dining
Honest review - I chose this property after a lot of research. What i liked was that the property is right in front of dal lake and has modern amenities and services. The food is really good (had veg dinner and breakfast buffet).
Maybe not value for money since it's a little pricey, but considering the options, it's a great place to stay. The staff was prompt and the services deserve appreciation.
