It appeared nice, but ended up being one of the least agreeable places I stayed at during my trip.
Pros:

The room looked nice. The pjs were comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast. It presented as nice Japanese but tasted like cafeteria food.

Pros:

L’hôtel est super. La chambre est confortable et bien équipée. C’est exactement dans ce que l’on recherchait en venant à Takayama. L’espace commun est un + très sympa et offre un endroit de répit en dehors de la chambre. Le personnel est très à l’écoute et fait attention, j’ai pu par exemple bénéficier d’un petit déjeuner adapté à mon allergie. De plus, la proximité immédiate de l’hôtel avec le centre historique et touristique rend les accès aux restaurants, morning markets, vraiment simple et agréables à pied.

Tradition meets modern day comfort - nice spa and quiet rooms
Pros:

We really liked the location - it’s next to everything you want to see in Takayama. The room was quiet and comfortable and the spa was a nice experience after a long day. We are grateful to the staff for the very long attitude and for being so helpful! We really enjoyed being in the hotel and appreciate the tips that we received, as well as the comfortable spa clothing.

Cons:

I wish it would be possible for the room to be fully dark. Even with the lights off there was some light coming in. Not a big issue at all, just noting.

Habitación muy grande y realmente bonita. Excelente ubicación. Parking gratuito (pedir con antelación). Barra libre de bebidas, cerveza incluída, hasta las 9-10 de la noche. Spa.

Hotel perfecto para tu estancia en Takayama
Pros:

La verdad es que después de recorrer Japón y probar diferentes hoteles en definitiva este es el más completo. Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y gozan de una estética increíble. Los trabajadores son excelentes y con muy buen nivel de inglés. El onsen muy limpio y tattoo friendly. Dispones de lavadoras y secadoras por monedas. Tiene una sala de estar junto al bar (tienes bebidas gratis durante bastantes horas), y es un espacio increíble para relajarte y cenar (te puedes traer comida de la Konbini de al lado).

Cons:

Aunque la idea no es del todo mala, el desayuno estilo Bento se queda un poco limitado, es de muy buena calidad y todo está muy rico, pero preferiría desayuno Buffet.
