Our best stay in Sri Lanka!
Pros:

Serenity Beach Cabanas is a beautiful place for a relaxing holiday. The surroundings are absolutely stunning, the staff are wonderful and incredibly welcoming and the food was the best we had in Sri Lanka. The fish curry and Sri Lankan breakfast a definite highlight. The owners Ali and Cappy go out of their way to make you feel part of the family. Cappy even took my glasses to an optometrist when the arm broke. It’s also in a fabulous location, bars and swimming pools to the left, town and fishing harbour to the right. We had a fantastic stay and I would highly recommend for a memorable beach getaway.

Prachtige plek
Pros:

Mooie ruime kamers, eigen appartement, heerlijke douche. Mooi en ruim opgezet aan een mooi strand maar in de zee, konden we helaas in de periode (juli), niet zwemmen. We hebben heerlijk gegeten (ontbijt, lunch en diner geprobeerd) en werden goed verzorgd door de uitbaters en het personeel. De hondjes waren voor ons een lieve bonus!

Cons:

Wij vonden de plek eromheen iets minder, maar de accommodatie was echt top.

Cabanas were sensationally appointed with great airconditioning and instructions

Linen and beds the very best I experienced in all of the places I stayed in 3 weeks of travelling Sri Lanka

Cons:

Very limited menu and food options however many fabulous restaurants 100metres away
Need portable fans for restaurant area
Limited English speaking staff

A most relaxing and comfortable stay on the beach.
Pros:

My wife and I just absolutely love this place. The staff goes out of their way to be helpful and it’s on a gorgeous beach. Mind you, we visited several beaches during our one week stay, but the one we loved the most, was just right out the door of our cabana. The staff was outstanding helping to plan several tours and transport. Breakfast was delicious. Sipping a Lion beer overlooking the ocean was awesome. Swimming in the warm Indian Ocean water in the morning was delightful. Plus, the fisherman‘s beach and large ship Harbor were not too far away, which made for wonderful photographs.

Cons:

Whoever has the side of the bed closest to the wall, doesn’t have a lot of room getting out of the bed in the morning or during the night, as there was perhaps only a couple feet to maneuver in.

An excellent few days stay.
Pros:

A great beach front hotel in a quiet location. Excellent, pleasant, helpful staff. Great food, especially the breakfast selection and coffee.

Cons:

Difficult to access one side of the bed as very close to wall and window, appreciate there wasnt any other position for it, but worth noting if you have mobilty issues. Bathroom could do with a bit of an update.
