Pros:

Excellent location, hosts are helpful and gracious. Very clean, beautiful garden for breakfast, wonderful resting place and view from my terrace!

A lovely homely but aristocratic hotel with a most delightful terraced garden
Pros:

It was well located and had the ambience of someone's well looked after home with some lovely antique furniture and a most delightful terraced garden where I took breakfast. The views over the bay from the terrace were as good as you get and it is excellent value for money

Cons:

I had a single room which was 'compact' and room in the bathroom (which was clean and well equipped) was very limited.

Hotel Villa Nettuno was the highlight of our stay in Taormina
Pros:

We felt very welcomed by Antonio as soon as we arrived at the villa.He showed us through the beautiful gardens and we enjoyed learning about some of his family history.The location of the villa was wonderful since it was very close to the entrance of the old town, across the road from the cable car or a 5 min walk to the bus stop that takes you to the train station.The ocean view from the gardens where we had breakfast each morning and also from the balcony off our room was amazing.We highly recommend Hotel Villa Nettuno and would love to stay there again if we return to Taormina.

A comfortable hotel, convenient to just about everything in Taormina.
Pros:

The hotel is a historic building with beautiful period furniture in the common areas. The owner is very nice and helpful, and explained the amenities of the hotel very well. The location is quite ideal. A short walk to the cable car to Isola Bella, another short walk to Porta Messina and the main commercial street in Taormina. Historic attractions like the Greek/Roman theatre and the public gardens are also short walks. There is also a bus stop right outside the hotel.

Cons:

The bathroom was perfectly functional and very clean, but the shower is a bit small. A relatively minor detail compared with the rest of the facilities.

Pros:

super Lage nahe Busbahnhof und trotzdem ruhig; wunderschöner Garten, in dem wir frühstücken konnten. Hotelbesitzer und Personal sind sehr freundlich. Zum Frühstück wurde extra Hafermilch gereicht. Charmante Villa mit tollem Flair; Badezimmer mit Fenster. Alles ordentlich und sauber. Toller Balkon und Terrasse vom Zimmer aus. Wunderbarer Ausblick.

Cons:

Die Toilettenspülung war schwer zu bedienen. Wir mussten mehrmals schnell hintereinander den Knopf drücken, als müsste Wasser hochgepumpt werden. Liegt wahrscheinlich an bereits älteren Rohren.

Pros:

Rapport qualité-prix IMBATTABLE ! L'hôtel est un peu désuet à tous égards, mais ça lui donne un charme indéniable. La chambre 205 que nous avions donnait sur une terrasse à la vue incroyable. Un bonheur d'ouvrir les volets le matin ! Situé près du téléphérique et à 300 mètres de l'entrée du centre-ville historique, l'hôtel permet de ne pas subir en permanence la foule des touristes tout en restant à proximité des endroits à voir, bars et restaurants. Petit jardin très agréable et ombragé où l'on prend le petit-dejeuner. Nous avons été emballés par cet établissement.

Cons:

La route qui passe en contrebas de l'hôtel n'est pas très passante, mais peut déranger les plus sensibles. Des bouchons d'oreille pour la nuit et plus rien n'y paraîtra ! :) Difficile de se garer en bas de l'hôtel pour déposer les bagages. Prévoir un parking (l'hôtel propose des places à dix minutes à pieds, accessibles par une route sans trottoir, mais c'est mieux que rien).

Wunderschönes altes Hotel mut tollen Tüerassen und sehr schönen Garten zum Frühstücken. Mein Einzelzimmer war klein aber mit großer Terrasse. Der Inhaber und alle Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit.
Handtücher, Bettwäsche und Matratze über dem normalen 2Sterne Niveau (eigentlich das ganze Haus)
