Good location, friendly staff and good value for money
Pros:

Value for money. Good location near enough centre of the city and a shopping centre. You said i asked for a quiet room - I didn't make that request.

Cons:

I think that butter should have been available at breakfast. There was only margarine at breakfast.
I don't think its right that payment for full length of the stay should be demanded before even seeing the room.

Für eine Nacht ok.
Pros:

Wir haben nach der Anreise in Windhoek die erste Nacht im Steiner verbracht. Wir sind erst um 22Uhr angekommen, konnten aber noch ohne Probleme einchecken. Das Zimmer war sehr gross, sauber und geräumig. Der Parkplatz war bewacht.
Wir haben die Nähe zu den grossen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten direkt über die Strasse sehr geschätzt. So konnten wir uns am nächsten Tag direkt für die Reise mit allem was nötig war eindecken und sofort losfahren.

Cons:

Die anliegende Strasse und auch eine Diskothek war sehr gut zu hören. Das Hotel ist in die Jahre gekommen. Für 1 Nacht jedoch ok. Schmutzige Tischtücher beim Frühstück.

Pros:

Very good location, with an electric kettle in the room. Right next to a large department store, where you can do all your shopping and grab a quick, tasty meal. We stayed there one night before and after a three-week tour. A safe place. I recommend it.

Average like a lot of Namibian accommodation
Pros:

Safe. Room was adequate size for the purpose

Cons:

Both bathrooms (we had two rooms) smelled: of urine (3) and just smell (1) - we told the receptionist who just shrugged indifferently

Pros:

L'accueil du personnel au top. Petit déjeuner copieux. Lits très confortables.

Cons:

Il faudrait une machine avec des snacks pour les arrivées tardives car on a dû aller au burger King et ce n'était pas vraiment safe.

Haben in den letzten Jahren immer mal wieder 1 - 2 Nächte dort verbracht. Lage gut. Frühstück recht gut
Leicht zu finden.
Pool nach etlicher Bauzeit fertig
Dort spät nachmittags zu sitzen ist ganz gut

Cons:

Kein Zimmerseevice. Betten nicht gemacht. Bad nicht.
Neue Inhaber wohl Chinesen
Nur eine Nachttisch-Lampe.
Zahlung bei Ankunft, also im Voraus. Nach 33 Tagen durch Botswana und Namibia ds erste Mal.
Zimmer war trotz Vorabbeszahlung Nur für 1 Tsg programmiert

Comfortable but avoid rooms near reception/ Wernhill Mall side
Pros:

Staff were lovely. Pool area was nice

Cons:

Rooms by the reception face the street & noisy garage at Wernhill Mall, and smoker from the courtyard area also gets into the rooms.
Avoid those rooms & request something near the pool up on higher level where it is quieter.

Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt gut, weil es zentral liegt.
Pros:

Die zentrale Lage, alles ist fußläufig zu erreichen.

Cons:

Die Führung. Das Personal ist durchweg freundlich und sehr bemüht. Die Führung unfreundlich und eher abweisend.
