Perfect venue for a visit to Ambleside
Pros:

The location of the hotel is excellent - and with car parking on site. The hotel staff were great - very friendly and welcoming. The hotel is really good, the room was spotless

Comfortable and fun
Pros:

A very comfortable room above a nice pub in the center of the quaint Ambleside. There was not a lot of noise coming from the downstairs and after closing time we had a very quiet and restful night. The bed was quite comfortable as well.

Mooie locatie maar vervallen hotel

Heel erg vriendelijk personeel

Cons:

Het hotel is heel erg verwaarloosd, we schrokken toen we aankwamen van de afgebladderde muren en verrotte kozijnen, kapotte banken buiten . Onze kamer was schoon maar erg armoeiig de gordijnen hingen los de badkamerdeur is aan de onderkant verrot.

Comfortable, relaxed location in centre of town
Pros:

Perfectly located in the centre of town, (with FREE parking) really friendly/welcoming staff. Our large room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and, despite being above the bar/restaurant/beer garden, was surprisingly quiet.

Cons:

Nowt - all was good.
