This hotel lives up to its name Boutique View with the stunning outlook on the canals.
Pros:

This property is a ten minute walk to Reijkmuseum and Van Gough Museum. The Leidesplene area is just around the corner. Access from the airport is by the 397 bus pretty directly, approximately 5€. The staff could not do enough for you, Mane made us takeaway coffees for our car trip as we were leaving! The staff were also helpful with any questions about where to shop and how to get there. The room is compact but functional. However the prize feature of the room was the stunning sunset views. Being right across from the canal and positioned to view the sunset provided the occupant with the opportunity to witness the changing colours of the sky and the twinkling of little lights on the water as the light faded. It was a truly magical experience.

Cons:

There was a heatwave in Europe and a little room that faces the afternoon sun does get extremely hot. Without a fridge or air conditioning in the room would be a big issue for some people. The hotel has a winding stairway however the staff very kindly helped us with our luggage. Mane moved all of it on our departure, what a hero!

Pros:

Ubicación y atención, la habitación muy linda

Cons:

Falta aire acondicionado.
Mi habitación está en 3er piso por escalera pero los anfitriones se encargaron de subir y bajar las valijas de viaje. Muy valorado

I would go back if travelling with a single case
Pros:

Location was great, easy in and out

Cons:

The room is incredibly small, we were travelling for an extended period to areas like Iceland which required warm clothing, and then south which required much cooler clothing so we had four cases. We have to crawl over each other to get to the bed

Comfortable , fabulous breakfast and hosts
Pros:

Close to the tourist sites, and to public transport . It was an authentic old canal house with character and very clean. The breakfast was fabulous and the hotel owner and staff most helpful in making my stay enjoyable .

Cons:

I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel but I might ask for a room on the first floor next time .

EXCELLENT
Pros:

Great location. Great owner. Super clean and tidy. Of course, like everywhere else, there are drawbacks BUT we came here to have fun and enjoy ourselves!!

Cons:

EVERYTHING was great. Just be careful the stairs are VERY STEEP and if you are a little older it will be difficult for you to make it. It was not a problem for us because we had already read it in previous reviews and we knew what to expect. SUPER hotel position and SUPER Owner!!!

Pros:

The room was adorable, with everything we needed. Ground floor, which could be a little noisy, but by bedtime all was quiet. And we walked so much, nothing would keep us awake! Location was amazing, right in the middle of everything. Natalie couldn't have been more accommodating, helping us with bags, directions, suggestions. I wish we couldn't stayed longer!

Pros:

We were very comfortable there, and it helped us enjoy our time in Amsterdam.
Pros:

Great location near the museums and Leidsestraat area. Hotel is a 5 minute or less walk to the tram station. Room was a lower level room that was larger than normal. Nathalie, the manager, was very knowledgeable and gave us several useful suggestions.

Cons:

Because the property is so old, no elevator or air conditioning. The stairs to our room were quite narrow and steep.

I couldn’t recommend this place enough
Pros:

We booked two rooms which came as the annex and this felt like a private stay. Natalie the host was superb, helping us at all hours with questions and directions. She was so welcoming and friendly which helped us feel extremely comfortable throughout the stay here.
It was pretty central to an area of restaurants and shops and just a short 20 min walk into the main areas of Amsterdam.

Cons:

Nothing - all was to an excellent standard
