Fantastic Appenzell stay
Pros:

Beautiful view, very cute room. Bed was comfortable. Excellent breakfast supplied. Electric car charging available. Restaurant onsite fabulous for dinner

Cons:

It was extremely hot 36 degrees when we visited- no fan or fridge in room. This normally wouldn’t be an issue.

We enjoyed our stay in Appenzell and the host made us feel especially at home there.
Pros:

The chef and owner picked us up from the train station. He was very helpful to give us tips on activities, which was good since it was raining. The breakfast was fabulous, so many fresh choices and high quality.

Cons:

The location was up a steep hill, which made for great views, but was a bit difficult to climb up and down to get into town.

A really excellent holiday for the 10 days we were with them.
Pros:

This is an excellent place to stay. On a hill overlooking Appenzell. Quiet with lovely views.
Friendly supportive staff, willing to go the extra mile for your comfort.
Very useful information provided about the area, excursions and other places to eat.

Excelente ubicación y trato exquisito
Pros:

Todo, la ubicación del hotel cuyas vistas hacia Appenzell son increíbles, todo un espectáculo de vistas, parecía un cuadro de lo bonitas que eran. Habitaciones amplias con vistas, manteniendo y limpieza de las habitaciones excelente, y todo acompañado de un trato familiar, cercano y cariñoso por parte de TODOS los empleados, destacando a los propietarios del hotel y sin duda alguna a Dina, cuya profesionalidad y trato al cliente es digno de destacar por lo atenta y cariñosa que es con todos nosotros.

A Gem in Appenzell
Pros:

Our stay at the Panorama hotel was excellent! Robert and Barbara are very attentive and did everything possible to make our stay with them very comfortable, happy and memorable . Our room no 16 was lovely ! Large, very airy and the furniture was painted in the alpine tradition. The toilet was large had two sinks and a very good flow of water. The balcony had an amazing view and was a relaxing place to unwind after a day of hiking.
The food is 5* I had the herb pork and the schnitzel with the best ever salad with so many varieties of veg! The breakfast too is a fantastic spread of different varieties of bread, cereals, cold meats, eggs cheese etc.. Etc.. The view from the patio where we sat to have our meals was simply breathtaking! I have no doubt the location of this guesthouse is the best in Appenzell! Robert goes that extra mile to give his guests a ride to the station/town and back if needed.
