Great room in a pub hotel, excellent location for the theatre and tasty cooked breakfast
Pros:

The room itself was well equipped with kettle, teas and coffees, ironing board, lovely shower, big bathroom.
The room was really clean and nice carpet.
It was quiet even though right about the lounge and market square outside window.
The breakfast was good, although we did have to wait a long time for our cooked breakfast even though the dining room was empty. We also had to ask twice for cereal bowls and extra milk. But the waiter was very apologetic.
All the staff were very friendly

Cons:

I didn't like having to check-in just past the general drinking lounge that had lots of locals and smelt really strongly of beer - but we did book to stay in a pub hotel so I'm not sure what I expected!

This a very comfortable hotel with very low prices for food and drink and very friendly staff.
Pros:

The staff are all very friendly and the 15% discount on food and drink on prices which are already low is a real bonus

Cons:

It doesn’t have parking on site but there is free parking a short walk away.

Pros:

Our room was clean comfortable with nice decor.
The location is fabulous, and the staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast and parking are included in the price making it very good value for money. We were seeing a show at the local theatre which is a short walk away so it was ideal for us.

Cons:

The pub itself is a little tired and the breakfast was quite basic.

Great stay……would recommend.
Pros:

Staff were very friendly and helpful. The team leader named Will went out of his way to be so very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room looked as if it had recently been refurbished and we even had bottled water along with tea coffee and biscuits etc. The shower was extra large with nice toiletries. Breakfast was plentiful and a good choice.

Cons:

The only thing we found wrong……which wasn’t a problem and we found it quite funny. We had two single beds and when I sat on mine the bed moved across the room as the wheels were not locked on it I think.

Very nice, comfortable and friendly.
Pros:

Lovely room (at the top of steep stairs) which would be tricky for some. Excellent, comfortable bed and shower and nice room temperature with no noise. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Good, central location. Perfect location for Theatre. Very reasonable bar charges.
Free car park (careful you go to the right one - short walk)

Cons:

Decor was a little tired in the main pub and walking up to our room stairway could do with a refresh. WiFi wasn’t good from our particular room, possibly as we were in the loft.

Wouldn’t recommend, and certainly not a 4 start hotel
Pros:

Decent location, staff excellent, really friendly.

Cons:

Felt poorly maintained, making it feel dirty, paint in places had a been repainted in different colours. Floor on en-suite was bad.
Breakfast was of poor quality, and didn’t taste great
