Thanks for the hospitality
Pros:

The Hotel exterior is Beautiful as is the interior, plenty of car parking spaces. The Hotel however isn't suited to anyone who is in a wheelchair as there are no available lifts onto the higher floors etc, they do have a small stair lift to get to the lower level at Reception. Reception staff are welcoming and do try their best to accommodate you. Bar man was very knowledgable regarding drinks as well as Friendly and He made a lovely cocktail. The girls at Breakfast were very Friendly and attentive a credit to the hotel, Breakfast was lovely too!

Cons:

We had booked a Family Room but had to be relocated due to a member in our Family being a wheelchair user due to limited mobility, upon entering the room it was nicely decorated but quite small and we were disappointed to learn the Fourth bed was a camp bed which was really awkwardly situated as well as uncomfortable

Disappointed in the end
Pros:

Nice room

Cons:

7:40 in the morning we were woke up by builders using a stihl saw outside. The building work was very noisy. Constant beeping from trucks reversing. Spoilt our stay a little

The Most Perfect Wedding Day
Pros:

Me and my wife got married here on the 3rd of August 2026 and we honestly couldn't have had a more perfect day! Catherine the wedding co-ordinator, along with all of the staff at the Leighnmour were amazing and ensured everything was taken care of down to the finest detail. The whole day ran so smoothly and all of our guests commented on how brilliant their day was. We are so grateful and would recommend this wedding venue to anyone.

Disappointing
Pros:

Booked a 'superior' room to stay as a guest at a wedding, and for £190 I was extremely disappointed with my room. £190 and the stench coming from the drain in the shower was overwhelming. It was absolutely awful. I had to keep the bathroom door closed tight at all times. I probably should have attempted to change rooms, but I was right in the middle of a wedding downstairs, and we were all told that the hotel was full to capacity with other wedding guests. There was a kettle hidden in the wardrobe that couldn't even be filled because the bathroom sink was no shallow it wouldn't fit under the tap. There were spiders and cobwebs all over the ceiling above the bed. There was no electricity plug anywhere near the bed so phone etc had to be charged at the other side of the room, and then at 7.30 am woken up by builders and generators right outside, and the windows were rotten wood so all sounds and noises were heard all night. There is no lift so if you have a few bags and are on the top floor you will struggle. The carpets on the stairs and hallways were stained. Certain staff could use with a refresher course in customer service, even though I was at a wedding and staying as a wedding guest I couldn't check in til after 3pm, however, that was right in the middle of the wedding celebrations, so my bags had to stay in my car until I could get checked in. I went to the desk at 2.40pm and asked if I could check in so I could get my bags out of my car to be told by the receptionist... 'NO'. That was it, no sorry, no explanation nothing else but NO. She made no eye contact with me, and carried on as if I wasn't standing in front of her. The price of alcoholic drinks was outrageous, make sure you bring plenty of money. Even though this venue knew the number of guests coming and the fact that they gave us a cocktail menu, the bar had 'run out' of ingredients for some of the cocktails, and wouldn't substitute the missing ingredients for different ones, because of 'audit purposes' seems ridiculous to me. Downstairs and the grounds of this hotel are lovely but the whole place needs updated. Very disappointed.

Nice hotel but avoid when noisy weddings if you want to sleep
Pros:

Location. Clean and practical

Cons:

Wedding party was horrendous. No sleep until 4:30am when they finally finished slamming doors, shouting and singing rebel songs

From the moment we arived we were made to feel welcome. The room was elegantly decorated and the beds super comfortable. We had dinner in the restuarant and it was excellant with exceptional service even down to explaining the wines.

Cons:

Nothing, everything was exceptional.

Shocking customer service
Pros:

I booked this hotel for an upcoming wedding in December. The wedding was on a Sunday and I booked to stay on the Saturday and Sunday nights. At the time of booking 19/10/25 there was a wedding already booked for the Saturday. Today 22/06/26 the hotel cancelled my booking for the Saturday, claiming that it was in the contract of the wedding party to have the whole hotel on the Saturday. They should at least be honest and just admit that the wedding party wanted another room and they gave them mine. The time between my booking and the hotel cancelling clearly shows they are lying. Absolutely disgraceful behaviour from this hotel.

Very comfortable and the dinner party we attended had a room to ourselves and the food was delicious
Pros:

The only thing that let the stay down was reception. There was no one there at 9.15 to check us out and we had to wait some time. Fortunately chairs were beside it. Otherwise we were very pleased. The food was very good, the staff were very polite and friendly and the quiet room we asked for was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was cooked to order and generous and there was a good selection at the buffet.

Cons:

Just that one niggle at checkin and checkout.

A Nice place to stay. Recommended.
Pros:

Location was good for a midway overnight to the North coast. Located in a quiet residential area, could walk into town and was very quiet and peaceful. We arrived about 7pm on a Sunday and were able to eat in the restaurant , which had a good varied selection and was very good.
The room we had was smallish but modern, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, clean with an open shower and very good.
we had breakfast included and it was very good.
It has a nice bar for an evening drink with an outside area.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Nothing.
