HOTEL BALKAN

When we made the booking, it showed that there were two rooms available. We booked one, and the full amount was charged immediately. When we arrived at the hotel that evening, we were met at the reception by a very rude and unpleasant man. He told us there were no available rooms and offered us one that could not even be locked. They are awful, as is the hotel and its owner. Avoid this place at all costs.

Uredno smo rezervisali hotel i stigla nam je potvrda o rezervaciji ,međutim kada smo došli na chek in receno nam je da nemaju raspolozivih soba. Ne samo nama,ista stvar se desila i ljudima koji su stigli ubrzo iza nas. Na recepciji su nam rekli da ne znaju sta mi da radimo niti ih interesuje sta cemo da radimo. Inace,nemaju radnika na recepciji vec im na tom mestu rade konobari,racunovodje itd,ko je slobodan u tom trenutku. Nemaju šefa,nemaju menadžera hotela. Izuzetno su bili neljubazni i bezobrazni prema nama,bukvalno su rekli da nemaju soba i da idemo dalje tražiti smeštaj. Čak nisu bili u stanju ni poništiti rezevaciju preko Bookinga koja je bila uredno naplaćena jer žena iz racunovodstva ne zna to da radi. Uglavnom,jedan veliki uzas i sramota!

The quality of service didn't justify the price.
Two stars only for the beautiful exterior and interior of the hotel.
The staff in the hotel are very rude, they make you feel like you're not welcome. They don't have a receptionist, so I was checked in by a hotel waiter (or bartender) who didn't even say 'welcome', he didn't check in properly and I couldn't get into the room, so I went back to get him. After checking, he didn't even say 'sorry, it's my fault', trying to make it look like I don't know how to open the door.
There was also no receptionist for check out, I'm not sure who the man was who just took the key and asked if it was paid in advance, without checking or recording.
The room is excellently designed but there is no one to maintain it, the door to the toilet can't be closed, more work should be done on cleanliness, there is still water in the kettle from who knows when and there is no tea anywhere, only sugar. There is one bathrobe and one pair of slippers in the room for two.
The bed was comfortable and clean otherwise I wouldn't stay a single night.
It's a real shame, the hotel has excellent potential but poor management.

Iako hotel ima parking mesta za koje uredno uputite rezervaciju, ista nisu dostupna gostima hotela, što dovodi do toga da po kiši morate da tražite parking i nosite stvari niz ulicu gde nađete parking mesto. Centar i jednosmerna ulica dodatno otežavaju sve prethodno rečeno.
Higijena nije na najvišem nivou.
Osoblje nije ljubazno, na opšte iznenađenje.
Nedovoljno opcija za doručak.

Stvari koje jedan od najskupljih hotela u Bijeljini ne sme da dozvoli. Hotel mi je veliko razočarenje.

Wine glass was not clean but it had a plastic cover over the glass saying it was cleaned, the wall looked like it had mold and the paint was getting chipped inside the room, carpets need a good wash as it looked like it was not in a while.

The check-out process was a bit weird as the manager was away and the poor young lady at reception wasn's sure how to charge the right amount. To give her her due, she contacted her supervisor and managed to charge our card in the end.

Das Personal war nicht wirklich freundlich. An Abreisetag wollte man uns das Zimmer nochmal verrechnen, obwohl es bereits per booking bezahlt wurde. Am Getränke Karte stand 1 Flasche 0,2l Fanta (MINIBAR) cca 2€, man hat uns 10 mark, knappe 5€ zum Schluss verrechnet.
