Beds were comfortable and the bedding was pristine.
The hotel is in a quiet area of Blackpool but very close to the tram which was great for us. Nice and peaceful to sleep.
Franco and Nagla were so friendly and made us feel very welcome. Lovely fresh full English breakfast.
It’s a lovely B&B not a lot to dislike. If I were being picky we went over a few very hot days and the twin bedroom only had a tiny window to open so found it a little stuffy.
The staff are welcoming and kind. Great to have parking on-site. The cooked breakfast is fantastic. Rooms well-equipped and clean.
The mattress dipped in the middle - not great on the back. Sound-proofing between rooms is very poor.
It said breakfast but when we got there we didnt get any
Beds were comfy
Room was far to hot
Also didn’t like the fact they came into our room to turn the light of the room off without letting us know our shower didn’t work at all aswell
40 pound for 2 fry ups is a bit steep
Friendly staff comfortable bed 🛌 clean room tea 🍵 milk toped up daily & Clean Bathroom 🛁 🪥
Northing
Franco and family gave a wonderful warm welcome, a clean functional room and one of the best breakfasts we’ve ever had, generous and cooked to perfection. Good nights sleep, free in street parking, couldn’t ask for more
Sunny and cosy hotel, professional host, beautiful coastline.
Room a bit on the small side. Breakfast very good as was the dining room
No USB charging points in the rooms. Poor shower.
Owner was friendly
Window wouldn’t shut properly man said someone had broke it previously said the heating would be on 2 hours at night and in the morning so shouldn’t be a problem. Shower not the best only a curtain and not very hot water
We found franco very friendly and welcoming.
Couldn't do enough for us.
Breakfast was excellent.
Location to seafront and shops was good.
Room was immaculate and cleaned daily.
Nothing everything was good
The room was a decent size. The bed was comfy. There was parking which is always a bonus.
Asking us what we wanted for breakfast the day before and when we said we weren't sure, proceeded to tell us they needed to know so they could make it, we felt pressured to go to breakfast. I've been to Blackpool several times and never had an issue ordering in the morning when we get down there.
Also when a couple of our group didn't turn up to breakfast, the host seemed to be annoyed as they had made the food for them. We did say we weren't sure who would be turning up.
The host telling us at breakfast one morning, we must have had a good night as he saw us coming in at such a time on the camera. Felt like we were being watched and judged about being out late. (We weren't loud when we came in either)
When giving the deposits for the room, I went in as the lead name on the booking to pay the deposits for the room but we had to have one person from each room sign a deposit slip each which their information on. Again don't see why this was needed as I was the name on the lead booking.
A couple of the rooms it felt like the flooring in parts of the bathrooms were going to cave in.
We got an upgrade for one room as one of the rooms was unusable because as the host told us a very large man broke the floor (I didn't think it was appropriate to tell us this or show a picture), while an upgrade should have been a bonus. He then proceeded to tell us that it was a family room and if we used the 2 singles beds at all as well as the double then he would have to charge us for the family room? We did not ask for this upgrade. Thankfully the people staying in that room did not use the single beds, however they were supposed to be in a queen bed, the bed in the family room was not a queen.
Overall I wouldn't stay there again, there are plenty of other places I feel that are better.
Clean. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast. Easy to get about using tram, but about 25 minute walk to the Tower. Very helpful and polite staff (although initial meeting appeared daunting as quite direct manner). Powerful shower.
Decor lacking in room, bit dated but easy to ignore as very clean and tidy.
The location was excellent, only a 2 minute walk to the sea front and illuminations. It was about a 40 minute walk to the Tower, but only 2 minutes to the nearest tram stop.
The room was clean and was serviced each day, with the bins emptied and tea and coffee replenished.
The breakfast was good, with cereal, toast and a Full English.
A high chair was provided for our toddler and a place to leave the pushchair downstairs.
We chose this hotel because it advertised free parking. However there were only around 5 spaces for around 18 rooms and we were asked to move our car onto the street on the second day of our stay.
The room was very clean, but there was no hook on the the bathroom or main door to hang up a coat or dressing gown. The towel rail was small and above the loo so you could only hang up hand towels and not the larger bath towels.
The family room was a good size, but on the second floor, up two flights of stairs, and there was no lift.
There was no wi-fi advertised and the TV kept losing signal.
We had to pay a £50 cash deposit against any damages, and wait for the room to be inspected before we checked out. However, the deposit money was refunded in full.
Unfortunate events with previous guests meant we had to stay at other b&b close by.
Would have preferred to stay at the Collingwood rather than Sunnydale.
Lovely B&B. Very friendly! Made me and my children feel welcome.
Breakfast was incredible!
room is basic, home from home but clean, tidy, beds are really comfy, rooms are spacious, bathrooms are clean!
Tea, coffee, milk, small toilettries and towels are also provided 🙂
Nothing!
