Ich rate von diesem Hotel ab, insbesondere Alleinreisenden.
Cons:

Der Hotelzugang war ab 19h nur eingeschränkt und nur über die Rückseite des Gebäudes möglich. Dort musste man sich von Personal, mit dem eine Verständigung wegen fehlender Englischkenntnisse nicht möglich, in einen Fahrstuhl begleiten und mit dessen Karte in das richtige Stockwerk schicken lassen. Der eigentliche Eingang, gleichzeitig Zugang zu einem öffentlichen Parkhaus, wurde nämlich abends mittels eines Zauns versperrt. Die Hotelbeschreibung hätte dies transparent darlegen müssen, denn für Alleinreisende, insbesondere in den Wintermonaten, ist dieses Hotel so keinesfalls zu empfehlen. Es erzeugte ein extrem hohes Unsicherheitsgefühl, alleine im Dunkeln das Gebäude umrunden zu müssen, um nach einem Zugang zu suchen. Leider wurde dies vor Ort - trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage - auch nicht ausreichend erklärt. Am Ende bin ich nach einer Nacht abgereist. Das Hotel hat keinerlei Kulanz gezeigt, sondern das Geld für die weiteren vier Nächte trotz mehrfacher Auseinandersetzung einbehalten.

Creative decor and lush atmosphere delivers a truly amazing experience.

Michael was extremely kind and went the extra mile to ensure that I was looked after. Please thank him.

The rest of the staff also did not disappoint and were just as friendly and helpful.

I felt truly at home, and I know that I will be back again and again for more of the same. This hotel is going to be my home from home in this wonderful city.

Pleasantly surprised, and overall quite content. I wish I had of stayed more nights.
Pros:

The establishment was close to the VA waterfront and secure. It had all the little luxuries, and then some it was stunningly fitted out with a warm and library indulgent vibe. The showers were spacious, and the rooms felt cozy.

Cons:

The lighting from the hallway beamed underneath the door at night. The garbage men at 5 AM were extremely loud in the streets and there was a funky sewage smell that came through the room early in the morning which woke me up.

Cheap and nice stay in Cape Town
