everything is easy great location helpful staff nice room
Good price, clean and comfortable room. Shower and toiket room also clean and attractive. Plenty of free parking for guests. Good food downstairs. Everything at a reasonable price and good quality.
There was nothing to dislike!
Property location
Clean comfortable room. Parking on site. Wonderful simple breakfast at a great price. Breakfast till 11 and check out 12.
The staff on check-in, the bar and even the cleaner were very friendly.
Lovely warm showers.
There was a supermarket and lovely park very close by ( a couple of minutes walk)
The bar is lively and there's a (very good) live DJ at weekends. I had asked for a quiet room and was put on the top floor where I couldn't hear it.
The bed was very comfortable.
Plenty of towels.
The room was extremely hot - the fan was a real bonus.
The first room I was in hadn't been cleaned - the bathroom was dirty. I was moved.
The second room I was in, the shower door didn't close and the water went all over the bathroom floor when I showered. So it was 'fixed' (the shower door then wouldn't open at all), so I was moved again.
The third room I was in was OK - there was no refund or goodwill gesture despite having to re-pack and move again and again. I had quite a lot of stuff as I was there for 8 nights.
The Wi-Fi was poor and apparently I ran out of 'fair-usage'- after an hour's work meeting one evening. I had checked I could work in my room when I booked and was told yes, however I couldn't because of the stinginess of the 'fair usage' policy. For this reason alone, I would not stay here again.
The carpets throughout the property, especially stairs and hallways were really dirty.
There's no CCTV in the property so when a group of drunk men were messing about in the corridor on the top floor at night no staff were aware. It felt unsafe as a solo female traveller.
Several days the room wasn't cleaned (which in itself is fine) but meant that the teabags and milk weren't topped up for the all important morning cuppa - more importantly the loo roll wasn't topped up either. I went out and bought some.
On one evening of my 8 night stay there was no parking available as there was football being shown in the bar.
No lift and lots of stairs.
The room was clean and bed reasonably comfortable (very firm)
No response to my call or emails asking for support re storing medication.
I asked for a quiet room due to leaving early am for an operation. Unfortunately we were put over the bin store so they were being rattled gone 11pm and around 5am the next morning. I said we would be checking out 7am or before but nowhere to checkout until gone 7am so packed the car whilst waiting.
The picture is misleading as we were not looking for a hotel on stilts.
Due to needing my operation I did not have time to leave feedback on the day to relay the experience.
How friendly the staff were
The process for getting breakfast and lack of choice
Room clean, modern and comfy. We were at the back of the property luckily so didn't hear any noise from the pub.
The connected pub had a dj playing on arrival and it was very loud so meant we didn't want to use this facility after a long day.
Very central and good parking
People stood on front steps smoking (staff as well), bit intimidating
The location was brilliant, a bus outside the door meant I didn't have ti use my car to visit the city centre or other places of interest.
The room was very hot, although fans were provided and the weather was extremely hot, we found the only respite was in air conditioned restaurant.
The staff were absolutely lovely. We were first put in a room on the top floor with no working fan. After speaking to the staff they moved us onto the ground floor and got us a working fan within 5 minutes.
The ground floor room that we stayed in was really nice. It was a big spacious room and had everything we needed.
We also had a meal in the restaurant in the evening and breakfast in the morning. We can not fault the food.
The only thing I didn't like was the pillows on the bed. They were too soft for my liking.
Very central in Coleshill easy access to the airport
Nothing
Location good
Booked for 2 nights had to leave after 1 my room window was next to some sort of extraction , unfortunately I never had any earplugs with me so never slept a wink
