Great place to enjoy Swiss hospitality and traditions
Pros:

Wonderful location on a hill overlooking Luzern, next to a beautiful baroque church. Spacious comfortable rooms and good breakfast. Friendly owners

Sehr schön mit kleinem Abzug
Pros:

Die Lage und das Personal ist toll.
Die Natur rund rum ist toll. Ein kleines nettes Hotel auf dem Berg. Der Weg dahin ist alleine schon super schön.

Cons:

Der Preis ist ehrlich gesagt recht hoch, sicher zahlt man für die Lage aber günstig ist was andres.

The architecture drew us in, and it didn't disappoint. The Gasthaus is a genuinely stunning building. The staff, the setting, and the food matched it. We will return.

Highly recommended hotel
Pros:

Excellent and beautiful location. Great hotel, great restaurant, and great staff.

The dinner and breakfast were excellent.

The hotel itself and the bigger apartment are highly recommended for families as well.

Cons:

Perhaps the mattresses in the main bedroom need to be replaced.

Beautiful hotel, great breakfast, church bells
Pros:

Beautiful property, lovely hosts. A fabulous breakfast! Great view out large full windows all around, with very effective blackout curtains when you want them. And despite a heat wave, room cooled off in the night.

Cons:

It is right beside a church and we stayed on a Saturday night. The church bells chime 1,2,or 3 times every 15 minutes, but multiple times when there is a service. I counted.....7 am they rang 225 times in succession. So, don't plan to sleep in on a Sunday morning!

Pros:

Le personnel est très accueillant, attentif et d’une grande gentillesse.
La chambre était grande et la vue top.
La localisation de l hôtel en altitude avec vue sur Lucerne était parfaite.
Très bon restaurant.

Cons:

Il faisait très chaud la nuit ou nous y étions et un ventilateur ou climatiseur ont manqué.
De même un petit mini bar aurait été appréciable pour garder les bouteilles d eau au frais.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo visti i costi di Lucerna. Tornerei.
Pros:

Tutti gentilissimi, struttura nel verde, camera tutta in legno, pulita, bagno grande, terrazzo. Molto tranquilla. Colazione ottima e possibilità di cenare.

Cons:

Niente minibar in camera che avrebbe fatto comodo per tenere al fresco alcune cose personali. Cena molto cara anche rispetto ai costi del luogo.
