The staff are lovely, very helpful and attentive.
The bed was comfy and the bath nice and big. We only stayed the one night, but we felt right at home straight away. The food was good quality and great value too.
Listen, it's not 5 star, it's 3, so expect 3 star standards of decor and you're sound.
Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Beds were comfortable.
Lovely stay. Clean and comfortable and the room had everything I could need such as kettle, toaster, iron and even a microwave if you prefer to self cater. The water for the bath, which was very deep and spacious, was lovely and hot. The staff are very kind and helpful and generally lovely people. I felt very safe, warm and welcome staying here, as well as very relaxed and well rested.
Nothing to dislike!
Outside it doesn’t look like much but it’s a clean hotel near QE Hospital that is quite affordable. There is a pub adjacent to the hotel. They don’t do breakfast, unless you pre order it. The one thing that I liked about the place is the staff. The owner and manager and the rest of the staff were very friendly and invited me to pint. I think I was they’re only guest but they treated me with kindness and welcomed me in the community. I was there for a job interview in the QE and they were very encouraging and supportive. You don’t always need fancy things in a hotel, you need nice people and that place has them in abundance. They asked me to call back after the job interview, didn’t get a chance to do it, but I got the job so I will stop by on my return to Gateshead.

The staff were very friendly and the room was big and lots to do there from dadts to pool to games
The room eeded some work a bit old fathion shower hose didbt really work and some of ghe beds were broken

Double bed was "made of" 2 single mattresses, so there was a gap in the middle, and you couldn't sleep in the middle.

Damp stale smell in room. Window blinds did not create a blackout at night so room flooded with street light. Hard uncomfortable mattress.
