Beautiful place
Nothing
It was a good hotel great atmosphere and friendly place.
Only negative thing was lumpy pillows and hard mattress. Otherwise perfect
Location for what we were visiting was OK. Staff were very helpful but run off their feet.
Could have been a few more staff, check in could have been a bit more obvious and organised and as an older couple help with our luggage would have been greatly appreciated. Hotel in general was looking a bit tired and could do some re-decoration. Meal service was a bit slow but that was probably due to lack of staff.
Breakfast was excellent
Rooms good do with a refresh
I liked my stay here very much it was in a great location for where I needed to be. The staff were exceptional.
The rooms could benefit from air conditioning. Its was 35oc during my stay and the window only opened about 2 inches. I know this is a safety feature but it keeps the rooms very hot and stuffy
Staff and evening meal was good, room was ok, hot with no air con or fan. Windows wouldn't open more than an inch for safety reasons and we stayed during a heatwave
Breakfast was awful, the worst we have had for a long time!! Water in an urn, not boiling so tea was yuck. No cereal or continental breakfast available so had to order 1 item from the brunch menu - avocado on toast with poached egg was one piece of sliced bread with avocado and one egg, hummus was slipped on the side, no seeds as described. The pancakes my partner had were served swimming in maple flavoured syrup - the bacon soggy. We will not be going back!
Charged twice but still await refund
Paying twice
Freshly made breakfast, nice sized room, good bathroom, friendly service
Wines on the menu could have been in stock. The hotel is near a very busy road and some way from the centre of Lichfield
exceptional breakfast, comfy rooms and friendly staff
no a/c on a very hot night
Room comfortable. Breakfast good Dinner good
Rooms were clean and nothing too much trouble for the Cleaning lady. She was lovely.
On arrival told no hot water would be fixed by evening. No problem for us but asking for a drink in the bar told not open due to hot water. We had been travelling 3hrs could of offered us a can of something or a bottle or water but was told nearest bar 20mins walk away. We ended up walking as it was extremely hot weather and needed a cold drink. Breakfast time had to find someone to order from as wasn't approached by anyone. Made you feel not welcome. No one there either when we checked out so left keys on bar. Shame lovely place but need to give more attention to guests staying there. Wouldn't book again. Excellent cleaning of room .
