Important information:

The hotel is a popular wedding and event venue, particularly at weekends, and due to the nature of these events hotel guests may experience some additional noise.

For group bookings of 5 or more rooms the following policies apply:

The guest will be charged a 20% nonrefundable deposit and full payment will be required 7 days prior to the arrival. The guest will receive an 80% refund if they cancel by 14:00 the day before their arrival.

Please note that meals on the 31 st of December will only be available in the Main Bar until 17:45. The Hotel Restaurant will be closed for a Gala Dinner on this date.

Please note that the bar and restaurant will close at 23:00 until further notice.
A deposit may be required at the property.

Very close to rail but not good value for the money. Breakfast was just basic.
Pros:

Needed some TLC. We had a room in the coach house. It was very dated and felt it needed upgrading.

Cons:

Old and worn out.

Will definitely book again for future stays
Pros:

Location is great. We booked the executive room and got to stay in 209 which had fabulous view from the window.

Amazing breakfast. Polite staff and superior comfort.

Cons:

Room service can be improved further. Every time we had to call and ask for filled bottles, cleaned cup for tea.

Great location, nice atmosphere
Pros:

We liked breakfast in the conservatory and dinner in main restaurant. spacious ,and request was met when we asked for a comfy chair in our room. Welcoming hotel with nice decor. Particularly liked the gardens.

Room wasn't very well insulated and could clearly hear the guests next door talking.
