Not given early check in despite getting a message to say we could have one. Room had a terrible view which was not really the problem but on the balcony roof with a bag of rubbish on it. This attracted seagulls. Just not the effort i would expect and not pleasant to look at.Wouldn't' stop again.
room was very clean and we were given a sea view room without paying the extra fee. very comfy bed and accommodating staff. we weren’t going to be around for breakfast but still wanted our free meal, so they gave us a packed lunch for free. would recommend, a lot of the other reviews are very VERY harsh. i would definitely give this place a go :)

Old fashioned decor
Good-sized room with enough wardrobe/drawer space, and good (if slightly small) bathroom - really good shower! It's an old established hotel with plenty of space. Operators Alfa run coach trips so the clientele is on the grey side (like us) and breakfast is waiter-served. Our waiter Attila wasn't the more famous Hun, but he was really on the ball! Breakfast itself was perhaps slightly institutional, and the 'juices' rather insipid, but otherwise everything was fine - prompt and hot (where appropriate). The hotel's situated along promenade about 10 minutes' walk from the town centre, but a nice 10-minute walk in the sunshine we enjoyed in August.
The juices at breakfast were a bit like squash, but otherwise no complaints.
