Redelijk tot goed

Het ontbijt was redelijk

Cons:

Het was een beetje oud hotel. Vloeren waren scheef. Het was wel schoon wat natuurlijk heel belangrijk is.

Ligging en ontbijt was goed.

Cons:

Kamer op derde verdieping was wel heeel erg oud..... zeer matige verlichting in de kamer, onder andere een Ledlamp aan het plafond waarvan ik dacht het is een noodverlichting.

Unfortunately, there was nothing I particularly liked about this stay. I booked the hotel for one night simply to break up a long journey, but I couldn’t get a restful night at all.
I had several overnight stops during a long road trip across Europe and stayed in a mix of older and newer hotels, so I certainly wasn’t expecting luxury. However, this was by far my worst experience.
The hotel feels extremely old and poorly maintained. The floor in the room was strangely shaking, the bedding was uncomfortable, and the room itself felt dusty and dated. There are also a lot of stairs, and the stairways and hallways were messy and did not feel properly cleaned.
Another thing to be aware of is the late-night check-in. There was no one at the hotel when I arrived so I had to call to find out how to get the key. Both the key box and the entrance door were surprisingly difficult to open, which made the arrival even more frustrating after a long drive.
Overall, I only needed a clean, comfortable place to sleep and rest before continuing my journey, but unfortunately this hotel didn’t provide that.

Pros:

Hotel mit Herz stimmt auf jeden Fall. Das überwiegend weibliche Personal war mega freundlich und zuvorkommend, sehr hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Das hat richtig gut getan. Das Frühstück: klein (vom Platz, das es eingenommen hat) aber fein - es war so eine reiche Auswahl, immer wieder wurde frisch aufgefüllt, sonntags gab es sogar Sekt zum Frühstück. Bei schönem Wetter kann man sehr angenehm vor dem Haus sitzen. Hübsche Lage mitten in Montabaurs Altstadt.

Cons:

Auf booking wird mit barrierefreiem Parkplatz geworben - deshalb war die Überraschung groß, dass der Zugang zu den Zimmern nicht barrierefrei ist.
Das sollte erwähnt werden.
Das Personal war aber sehr freundlich und behilflich mit dem Gepäck.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar.
Ansonsten süßes kleines, etwas windschiefes und verwinkeltes Hotel. Zimmer sehr hellhörig. für eine Nacht absolut in Ordnung.

Cons:

Der Kaffee war leider viel zu dünn. Ansonsten war das Frühstück in Ordnung.

Pros:

Ich habe sehr schön im Turmzimmer der geschmackvoll renovierten Dependance gewohnt, Bad, Bett und Schreibtisch: Alles perfekt. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet, im Haupthaus, mit feinem Filterkaffee war sehr fein.
Ich komme gerne wieder!

Familienausflug im Wohlfülhotel
