Fair value for the location. Not thrilled with the hassle.
Pros:

The rooms were clean, and decent size

Cons:

You check in a the sister property. Then you have to take your luggage down the hill to the actual hotel. This was not a pleasant experience.

Pros:

Great location. Nice rooms. Great shower.

Cons:

Surprising that we were not provided with a fan in view of the heat. We stayed in 2 other locations in Switzerland that were more basic but had fans.
The communal coffee machine did not work/didn’t have the essentials for most of our stay. I mentioned that was not working to restaurant staff. It was fixed over 12h later. Someone had used up all of the milk cartons, they were not replaced. Then there were no cups. In fairness I mentioned this to the hotel staff at checkout and he immediately offered a coffee which was nice.

het upgade hotel was super luxe maar daar betaalde je ook naar

niets

Cons:

hotel lag boven een restaurant waarvan de wc de ingang was van het hotel. het stonk naar urine.
terug gegaan naar het hotel waar je je moest aanmelden en naar een up grade gevraagd.
deze konden ze ons gelukkig geven.

Perfect
Pros:

We kregen een gratis upgrade naar het Berg Hotel Grindelwald. We hebben dus niet echt in PINTE gezeten, maar BG Hotel was perfect.

Pros:

The receptionist Nastasia (not sure if that’s how you spell her name) was so so attentive! Our flight delayed so once we’ve reached interlaken there’s no more public transport to reach Grindelwald. She booked us a taxi and kept following up until 1am. Very grateful for this attentiveness! And the stay was great although during the heatwave it was bit too warm :)

Pros:

Room was very clean, bed comfortable and bathroom a generous size.

Cons:

One small issue there were some smelly garbage bags when we entered the building in the evening that I think had been stacked there by the attached restaurant.

If you are looking for a great stay in a classic but current remodelled room then stay here, you won’t be disappointed
Pros:

Everything from the location to the hotel, room and definitely the staff!!

Cons:

Having to walk up a mountain to the parent hotel located behind the Pinte. I would suggest having a check out kiosk possibly in the coffee area on the second level or even the first level entrance to check out.

Pros:

The location was perfect: on the main road, in the centre of the main street, directly across from a sports bar.
Beautiful views of the mountains from our window. Fresh towels every day, not optional.
Staff couldn't do enough for you.
Free shuttle from and to the train station (on arrival and departure.).

Cons:

No kettle in the room (my daughter needs her tea English style)
No fridge in the room. When the outside temperature is over 33°, it's nice to have a cold drink to come back to.
We only had one key, which meant we had to stay close to each other, so no alone time (we were told the previous guest had lost a key).
