Pros:

Was a last minute retreat as first place was booked by booking by accident and was out of service. Perfect replacement for us, lovely place and the room was beautiful. Comfiest bath I've come across, bed was Comfortable too. Host was lovely too which was an added bonus. Will be back in future.

Pros:

Lovely traditional house. Very good facilities to enjoy; social areas and gardens. Great environment to chill in. Lilian the owner is so lovely and friendly and can’t do enough for you. We are looking forward to returning.

Very peaceful and comforting stay.
Pros:

Exceptional property. Feels like youve gone back a 100 years. Absolutely beautiful furniture and rooms. Super polite staff and an honest bar concept(which is hard to find these days). Overall very peaceful stay.

Cons:

The bathrooms dont have an overhead shower. So youre stuck with a hand held shower (which I guess is part of the old theme of the house). The problem I faced with the handheld shower was that the water temprature wasnt consistent and you constantly had to play around with the taps to get it right.

Fantastic getaway here!
Pros:

We had the MOST wonderful relaxing stay here, it was easy to find. So peaceful and quiet. One of the most comfortable beds we've ever slept in. The staff were attentive and helpful. We felt so welcome and relaxed. The room was presented wonderfully and felt really special, being able to use the downstairs room with the open fire was also a treat we weren't expecting. We cant wait to come back!:)

Exceptional, great food even providing gluten free, beds comfortable, warm and staff and owners so friendly.
Pros:

Not just a big standard non discrip box hotel but a home with character and full of interesting artefact’s. Gorgeous roaring log fires and warm welcome and generous hospitality.

Cons:

Absolutely nothing, can’t fault the beautiful period house .
