- Design & Ambience: The hotel is very beautiful, stylish, and features a huge, gorgeous lobby. The room design fully matches the declared "wabi-sabi" style and looks lovely (I will attach photos).
- Breakfasts: The breakfast was excellent! You definitely won't leave hungry. There is a nice variety of Thai dishes (like rice), European options, fruits, and desserts. They also make fresh eggs, omelets, and scrambles to order, and serve refreshing lemonade.
- Amenities: There is an elevator, which is a huge plus if you are traveling with heavy luggage. The hotel also offers a convenient laundry service for 100 THB per kg with a 24-hour turnaround.
- Room Service: Complimentary bottled water (2 bottles daily) is provided without any issues. The air conditioning is powerful and works perfectly.
- The Road to the Old Town: It takes about 7–10 minutes to walk to the Old Town walls, but the walk is quite unpleasant and stressful. There is no sidewalk, so you have to share the narrow road with cars and bikes. It’s also very hot, and the surroundings are not scenic at all. We ended up taking a taxi almost every time.
- Room Storage: There is no proper wardrobe in the room. There are only a few hangers on a rack, which is clearly not enough for clothing.
- Bathroom & Amenities: The bathroom is quite small, separated from the main room by a frosted glass partition with a window. No bathrobes are provided. There are rubber slippers available instead of disposable ones.
- Swimming Pool: The pool is located in the atrium under a roof. The water is very cold, so you can’t swim for long (I only used it a couple of times). It is open from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Coffee & AC Nuance: The coffee at breakfast was very poor (though this is common in Thailand). Also, if you turn off the AC for the night, the room traps heat very quickly and gets uncomfortably hot by morning.
Rooms are nice
The breakfast is quite underwhelming and doesn’t meet European expectations. Items are not stored in refrigerated conditions, and the selection is very limited.
Fortunately, there are plenty of breakfast places nearby.

Het ontbijtbuffet was slecht en zag er niet hygiënisch uit. Ook zit het personeel er met zijn allen te hangen op hun telefoon en kijken ze niet naar je om. Om nog te beginnen over het personeel bij de receptie, de ontvangst was kil en onvriendelijk. Ook werd er respectloos omgegaan met een situatie met onze kamer waarna er door het personeel om werd gelachten denkend dat wij dit niet vernamen. Verder hadden wij een kamer aan het eind van de gang waarvan je zou denken dat het rustig is. Het was elke nacht enorm rumoerig en in de ochtend werd er al voor 07:00 door het personeel gebruik gemaakt van walky talkies op vol volume. Dit commentaar is verder niet gericht op de mannelijke collega van de receptie die erg vriendelijk en respectvol was.

good location, very pleasing interior
I really found the staff rude and not empathetic at all unfortunately.
Heel erg mooi ingericht, het was schoon. De locatie is dicht bij de muren van old town. We hadden een auto gehuurd die we gratis konden parkeren bij het hotel. Goeie prijs kwaliteit verhoudingen.
Het ontbijt is prima, niet geweldig. Het zwembad hebben wij zeker wel gebruikt en vonden het, in tegenstelling tot veel andere reviews, niet raar of ongemakkelijk om te gebruiken. Het enige nadeel vonden wij dat het water erg koud was. Niet al het personeel was heel vriendelijk, sommige wel.
