A beautiful and magical stay for our family.
Pros:

We loved how beautiful everything was. Our family enjoyed using the pool and loved the live music in the evening while we played chess and checkers in the lounge. Breakfast was delicious and included gluten free options. The laundry on site was also a nice bonus as our stay was towards the end of our vacation.

A classic grand Highland hotel in a beautiful setting.
Pros:

This is a spectacular hotel in a grand Victorian castle in a beautiful setting. There's a pool and spa facilities and beautiful gardens and it's comfortable and a short walk (up a hill) from Pitlochry and the Festival Theatre.

Cons:

The decor feels a little bit "old school" but in a way that is part of the charm in a hotel like this.

A grand looking hotel but a bit faded. Could do with some investment to spruce it up and modernise.
Pros:

Liked the gardens, the spa facilities, the pitch and put. Nice shower and coffee maker in room.

Cons:

A few of the staff were not well trained to interact nicely with guests or couldn't be bothered. Needs some renovations in places (e.g. male changing rooms for the swimming pool).
