It was enjoyable in that setting was amazing and the staff were really helpful
Pros:

It was very grand and in a beautiful setting and grounds. View from resultant was amazing!!

Cons:

The room allocated although for disabilities it was quite far from reception and front door. Toilets very far from main entrance to building.
En-suite was quite tired and needing refreshed, particularly Shower basin and shower. Sink was too small especially when trying to fill kettle and coffee machine.
Coffee machine stopped working after one coffee.

It was certainly an experience but not always a good one.
Pros:

Staff in restaurants amazing very hard working but seemed to be run off their feet,not enough of them.Reception

Cons:

Reception staff unhelpful took them hours to find a tv remote control for us.No good morning or what can we do to help .

Very comfortable but very over priced for the quality of food

Setting is very nice and the hotel very nice also

Perfect.
Pros:

Great amenities like the pool and spa. Breakfast was amazing and stags head bar is one of the best places for a drink in the town. Staff are always friendly and very helpful.

Overall this is a good hotel but greater attention to detail is required to justify the price. We come to Pitlochry regu

Location and grounds are wonderful

Cons:

Room lovely but tea and coffee making facilities very poor with kettle on the floor by the bathroom door and also had to unplug the fridge to use the coffee machine - definitely not what you would expect for the price. Also had a disturbed night due to very noisy bar entertainment continuing well after 11pm. Also this bar entertainment was of poor quality.

The staff were generally polite but terse and generally quite cold, they could have been more friendly

Pros:

Beautiful historic hotel in a stunning location. We had 2 very relaxing spa treatments and dinner at the bar, which was excellent.

Staff were friendly and helpful . Very clean and well appointed- lovely breakfast
Pros:

Bedroom had coffee machine ,fridge,fresh milk,bottled water and biscuits which we really appreciated .
Enjoyed the museum .
The gardens and the grounds were perfect- quiet and peaceful

Cons:

Loungers in pool were not very comfortable

Great venue and definitely worth a visit.
Pros:

The food was very good. The breakfast was buffet style with a wide selection of traditional food and fruit.
There was entertainment provided and this made for a fun evening.

Cons:

It was difficult to get the room dark enough.
