The breakfast was great. Good selection, good quality and nicely presented.. Hotel is very dog friendly and staff made it very easy to get our breakfast and sit in the lounge area. Also had a bar meal which was excellent quality. The room we got was great - spacious, great quality and super comfortable bed.
Third time we have stayed here and it never disappoints
Paying a fee for the dog each night when the room isn’t cleaned during the stay
Good location and lots of parking.
Breakfast was ok but not great. Very little fresh fruit, poor selection of yoghurts or ‘healthy’ options generally- or maybe I missed them. I wound up having some toast …
Great location.
Lovely building
Fantastic staff.
Time and money had been spent on the room, but the carpet and bathroom both looked older and not so clean.
Location was great on the edge of the town Center with a nice park to the front. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.
The internet connection was poor during our stay and a number of sites we tried to access stated that the connection was not secure and therefore they would not allow acess . Because of the internet issues we were unable to acess TV channels including world cup matches ☹️. i don’t think charging for parking is correct in a hotel of that standard
We had an amazing stay at Cedar Court Harrogate this weekend. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly pleasant, friendly, and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, and they really made our stay special.
The hotel was very clean throughout, and the food was absolutely lovely. Everything was well presented and enjoyable.
What really stood out, however, was the staff. They were all amazing and went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience. Their kindness and professionalism made our weekend even more memorable.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend Cedar Court Harrogate to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable break. We can't wait to return.
Beautiful building, spacious rooms, great location, excellent value for money
On-site parking for guests is expensive
The location itself had its charm. Very nice restaurant. The newly renovated rooms are nice. The old ones really not in a good shape. Mattresses in u-shape.
Unfortunately the cleaning staff has no idea what they’re doing.
Very nice staff who tried to help us out as soon as we complained.
I was upgraded to a better room no questions asked, front desk staff were excellent.
Bed in the upgraded room was genuinely really comfortable and so were the pillows. To the point actually where I would actually order it for my own home! Very tastefully decorated.
It is definitely worth taking the room upgrade.
Some of the other rooms aren’t nearly as nice, and do have 2 single beds pushed together to make one massive bed. I really can’t abide this! Guy behind the bar was miserable as sin. Bartenders should be sociable!
Breakfast low quality. Same as a premier inn breakfast.
The staff were friendly.
Paying £10 per night for parking felt like a hidden charge. Made the hotel more expensive to stay.
The room we were allocated on arrival was a good size, but well worn, and in need of a rennovation. At night, the fans above the kitchen that were directly outside our room window were exxeptionally loud and kept us up all night. The room was also very warm and uncomfortable. After complaining we were moved for our second and final night to a much more contemporary room with no noise issues which was much better. It was just a big shame that of a 2 night stay, 50% of it was so poor.
Stayed here a couple of times before. Location was ideal. The hotel no longer has a traditional reception desk/area but check-in and check-out were simple enough. Bed was comfortable. Free WiFi. We got back after midnight and found the bar was still open, which was good.
We had a small box room in the top corner overlooking the car park and a skip - although you couldn't see them without standing on the bed because the window was in the roof. Standard definition on the TV made it unwatchable. The shower was near impossible to regulate to a decent temperature, and the bath wouldn't drain - discovered that the filter on the bath plug was blocked with matted hair - gross - who knows how long since it was last cleaned. Charging £10 per night for parking is outrageous.
Location
Food was delicious
Dogs only allowed in bar which had less atmosphere
Excellent service from reception
Clean rooms
Excellent food
Had a lovely couple of days away at the Cedar Court. Great location and lovely hotel with lots of character. Easily within walking distance of the shops.
Didn't have dinner but breakfast was lovely.
Fantastic room very clean and did a complete room refresh for our wedding night and left a lovely card from the hotel
My partner has a metabolic condition and we were not allowed to bring his prescribed food as this can’t be catered for by any restaurant or supermarket
