Stayed at a great hotel,can't wait to return
Pros:

The breakfast was very nice,you good eat as much as you like,a great selection of food hot or cold. The location is great about 10,15 minute walk into the centre of Harrogate depending which way you go

Cons:

Leaving Harrogate which is a beautiful town and a great hotel.

Pleasant and convenient hotel overlooking The Stray
Pros:

Very friendly staff; comfortable lounge and bar area; attractive restaurant with lots of character and excellent, beautifully presented food.

Cons:

The mattress and pillows on the bed were very firm and there was a winter duvet, when a summer duvet would have been preferable, as the room was very warm.
The shower was over the bath, which didn’t drain well, so was standing in water by the end of a shower.
The room looked a little dated and tired.
Limited selection of fresh fruit at breakfast.

We were only there for a night but the hotel is in a good location, was welcoming on arrival and has good facilities.
Pros:

Easy to find, welcoming check-in, great playing fields directly opposite, good breakfast.

Cons:

Children’s portions at dinner ridiculously small. It says for 2-12 year olds and the portions (pasta) were for a 2 year old. We complained and chef did more. Unhelpful comment from waiter who said “you should order off the adults menu for them next time.” We didn’t let it spoil our experience and the restaurant is good.

Cons:

Asked for an invoice at the desk, refused, needed to contact Booking.com, asked Booking.com, they said i need to ask hotel, asked hotel they tell me to look on booking.com

i still have not got a vat receipt..... its a joke

Hotel Group needs a form to REQUEST Guest to add their pet . As we travel a lot , and this was not too be seen anywhere on a booking form . They do allows pets I presumed I’d ticked to which Hotels allow pets .they allowed pets .
I didn’t bring her as it happens as too hot plus had the small car with us , as they had nothing listed for a dog still on there actual personal booking form don’t know where you record this as no request box nor do they say to ring hotel to book a dog in 🥴for cost aswell . I since asked this verbally when there . Modernised Bedrooms Did not have Breakfast so can’t comment . Very hot the the time we stayed but had a room fan which was needed . Good job didn’t have our dog too hot for her here .

Cons:

Paying for car park, £10 . Husband also had a Blue Badge ?
a bit strange Hotel should be able to override that charge for parking .
