A lovely traditional hotel, with a great room that had a great view of the forest. We even got our walking boots cleaned before entering the hotel.

Pros:

Das Personal und der Inhaber waren freundlich. Es wurde ein Tisch reserviert, den wir gerne annahmen. Essen und Frühstück waren gut und ausreichend. Besonders haben wir viel frisches Obst zum Frühstück geschätzt. Die Lage am Rheinsteig war optimal. Das Bett war bequem und wir konnten gut schlafen.

Cons:

Es gab eine Gesellschaft. Um in unsere Zimmer zu kommen, mussten wir durch den Saal, das fand ich nicht so günstig. Eins der drei gebuchten Zimmer lag direkt über dem Saal und man hat den Feierlärm gut gehört. Die Duschen waren etwas speziell: es war wenig Wasserdruck auf den Leitungen und die Temperatur schwankte ständig zwischen kochendheiß und eiskalt.

Great stay for the night
Pros:

It was right on the Rheinsteig so great for walkers. The room was good and dinner and breakfast were good. We arrived an hour early as late check in from 16.00 but we were let in which was much appreciated

Die Lage direkt am Rheinsteig war für mich perfekt. Statt des Einzelzimmers habe ich ein Doppelzimmer bekommen. Das Essen im hoteleigenen Restaurant war sehr gut, und für mich als Hausgast war automatisch ein Tisch reserviert.

Cons:

Ich habe nichts zu beanstanden, es sind keine Wünsche offen geblieben.

Top zum Wandern - auch im Winter
Pros:

Prima Familienbetrieb direkt am Rheinsteig!
Unser Zimmer war sehr geräumig, sehr sauber und mit schönem Blick ins Grüne. Es gibt einen Selbstbedienungskühlschrank mit Getränken oder alternativ das angeschlossene Restaurant mit Bar. Lecker Küche und gemütliche Atmosphäre mit Kamin. Unbedingt empfehlenswert nach einem langen Wandertag.
Wir haben inklusive Frühstück gebucht, das gab es mit großer Auswahl inklusive frischen Eiern - obwohl wir wegen der Jahreszeit die einigen Gäste waren.

Check Out früh möglich, Sauberkeit top

Cons:

Frühstück für Geschäftsreisende, welche vor 8h auschecken müssen, zum Preis für 10€ recht mau! Durfte mich an bereitgestelltem bedienen. Süßer Aufstrich genügend vorhanden, jeweils 1 Scheibe Käse, Schinken, Wurst auf Teller im Kühlschrank bereitgestellt. Toastbrot und kleine Aufbackbrötchen, welche recht wenig einladend wirkten. Toll, dass ein wenig Obst und Joghurts bereitstanden, sowie Müsli.
Die Betten waren mit einer Kuhle versehen/ durchgelegen.
