Great location in the Borders, full of character, good food and helpful, friendly staff
Pros:

Beautiful building with fabulous conservatory- with real and very old grape vines. Staff really friendly and helpful, went out of their way to make our stay comfortable.

Cons:

The window in our room would not open and it was quite a warm night.

A lovely stay in this traditional hotel
Pros:

I really like this hotel. It is very traditional and a bit dated but has that charm to it. The staff are excellent. I have stayed here a few times before but had never eaten here before. We had a superb meal the night we arrived that surpassed expectations and was good value for money.

Hotel is quiet, clean, has beautiful gardens and the rooms are spotless. Food is excellent too.

Kdo ma rad stare domy s pribehem a zajimavou architekturou jako my, urcite by se tu mel ubytovat. Byli jsme v rodinnem apartma, ktere je nadherne. Personal je moc mily a profesionalni, skvele snidane, krasna zahrada, poloha vyhodna pro radu krasnych vyletu (Abbotsford, Melrose...)
