Definitely worth staying over on your way to somewhere and coming back
Pros:

Breakfast was good as was the evening meal in bar. I like the old world charm of the establishment and particularly the open fire in the bar. This was not my first stay at the Green Lantern and it will nor be my last

Cons:

Although the rooms in the main house are "quaint" they could do with a refurb

A good half way stop between Joburg and Durban in an old coaching inn.
Pros:

It's an old coaching inn, with a lot of history.
Very good breakfast (extra cost, but reduced rate for residents). Good restaurant and bar.

Cons:

The room was very cold, but eventually warmed up with air con on full, and welcome electric blanket.

Overall a lovely experience.
Pros:

Dinner and breakfast was very good.
Communal sitting areas are decorated nicely and homely.

Pros:

Warm, comfortable, welcoming and a lovely experience. The staff were exceptional and Miss Bojangles and the doggy completed our restful stay.

Pros:

I would stop just for the oxtail! Thank you for the wonderful hospitality. Best midway stop to meet Mrs Bojangles on the way to/from Durbs!
