Sumba Beach House

Staff were incredibly friendly. Such a unique place far from the madding crowds. Some beautiful beaches close at hand. Overall a truly amazing experience.

Simply everything. The staff are exceptional: when one of us got sick, the team spontaneously lent us a car and drove us to the hospital themselves. They looked after our children (4 and 6), played with them and were always there – warm and attentive, yet never intrusive, exactly the right balance. The property was spotless, cleaned twice a day. Mosquito spray and little extras were provided without us asking – zero stress. The food was excellent throughout, morning, noon and night. The beachfront location is a dream, everything clean and peaceful. You meet the loveliest people from all over the world who drop by to eat or just hang out – and the locals at Batu Bella Beach are warm and genuinely interested in you, without ever trying to sell anything. A perfect place for families.

Sumba Beach House was absolutely fantastic! We are a family of 4, and we had 4 nights here. The location was perfect- absolute beach front. Beautiful clean beach out the front and a short bike ride to equally beautiful beaches around the corner. The rooms were awesome- bungalow style with a huge and unique bathroom. AC worked well and plenty of hot water. The restaurant was also great with delicious menu. Included breakfast was varied and good quality. Staff were super friendly. Easy access to good surf spots.
We would definitely come back- excellent value for money. We loved Sumba- relaxing, quiet, peaceful and unique.

Fantastisch resort, kleinschalig met maar 5 kamers, direct aan het strand. Prachtige plek op het mooie eiland Sumba.

La plage, le personnel surtout le house keeping, la belle salle de bain. On s est senti vraiment bien ! Excellent petit déjeuner.

Sumba beach house a une vue direct sur la mer, une super équipe très serviable, un très bon restaurant.

L’endroit calme et face a la mer est juste improbable et topissime….. chevaux/ buffles qui passent sur la plage!!!

Great location and staff.

We loved Sumba beach house! The hotel is really amazing and Sumba is great! Maybe the beach in front was not that awesome for us, but you can walk/take a ride to many other options. Plus we really loved the service, which is really professional and unexpected!

What a magic place. We stayed there for 10 nights and found it hard to leave.The service was fantastic, staff were attentive, friendly and went out of there way to make us feel welcome.Food was excellent and fairly priced. Beers were always cold. The accommodation was beautiful, clean and loved the special extra touches that they did in our rooms. Amazing beach at your doorstep and a fun wave out front.Thank you Sumba beach House staff for making our holiday a memorable one. Would not hesitate to visit again .Sam and Bondy 😀

Das gesamte Restaurant Team ist wahnsinnig freundlich, extrem engagiert und hilfsbereit. Es hätte nicht besser sein können.
Die Qualität und Preis des Essens ist sehr gut und angemessen.
Wir hatten eine wirklich wundervolle Zeit.
