Comfortable stay, friendly staff, great value, and beautiful sea views.
Pros:

I stayed at this hotel twice for one night each time, as I was passing through on my way to Ithaca, first on July 30 and then again on August 21 on my way back.

The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming especially the lady. The rooms are spacious and comfortable enough for a short stay. If you get a sea-view room, it’s definitely a big plus!

There is plenty of free parking available, which is very convenient.

For the price, I think the hotel offers good value for money. I paid €55 in July and €68 in August..

I also really liked Amfilochia. It’s a quiet and pleasant town with good restaurants, good people, very reasonable prices and a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth visiting if you are passing through the area.

Cons:

The hotel has a somewhat dated style and could benefit from some modernization. The bathrooms are also quite small.

Other than that, I had a pleasant stay on both occasions and would consider staying here again when passing through.

Wunderbares Stopover-Hotel direkt an der Bucht

Ich habe das Oscar Hotel als Stopover während meiner Motorradtour genutzt und war besonders von der Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft begeistert. Der Rezeptionist war ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und höflich, hatte immer noch einen hilfreichen Tipp parat und hat mir sogar eine zusätzliche Flasche Wasser organisiert – solche Kleinigkeiten machen den Unterschied.

Auch das Zimmer war tipptopp, mit einem wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. Die Klimaanlage hat ebenfalls sehr gut funktioniert. Für mich ein rundum angenehmer Aufenthalt und eine klare Empfehlung – gerade auch als Zwischenstopp auf einer Reise!
