Gorgeous setting, accommodating staff and loads of fun!
Pros:

In a great location, near a lot of activities and easy to find. The staff were so good! Attentive, funny, excellent recommendations and seemed to really care we had everything we needed.

Cons:

Breakfast was a bit expensive but tasted good.

Fantastic night away
Pros:

Was awesome to be able to have a night here with evening dinner and breakfast. Such a relaxing night away. All the staff were amazing. Super friendly and welcoming. The room was warm, clean and comfy, spa bath lovely, restaurant was great. Happy hour and the beautiful surroundings. Thanks to everyone

Clear skies made the lodge a great destination to explore Mt Taranaki
Pros:

Great atmosphere within the lodge, the fires were on which gave the lodge a cosy feel, friendly staff and wonderful food from the restaurant 🤗

Cons:

The rooms were not air conditioned so the oil heater struggled to keep the room warm, luckily there was an extra blanket in the cupboard.
There were no staff available at the lodge to finalise our payment when we checked out at 8.30am

And no coffee machine in the room but we did get coffee delivered at 830am. Much appreciated!

Pros:

Beautiful scenery, so close to the mountain.

Cons:

Was quite cold. The heater didn’t make much of a difference and there was no electric blanket on the bed as stated in the room description which made for a long cold nights sleep. Room was quite small but bed was comfortable.

Pros:

Staff were lovely. Bed was comfortable. Spabath was good.

Cons:

No microwave - location expectation is that you would eat all meals at restaurant which were on higher end but very tasty. Drinks quite expensive.
