Staff ,breakfast, location, golf and peaceful environment
Room facilities were old , smelly, no mini bar , nor air-conditioning
Room overlooked golf course, beautiful scenery.
All good.
Location was nice, in the countryside but close to Ticehurst
No AC in the rooms so it was pretty stuffy
The room and the location and the staff I met were pleasant
Tried for nearly an hour to get through to the reception to order something to eat around 19.30 hrs in my room, Unfortunately didn't get an answer so gave up in the end which was a shame
Room was excellent as was breakfast and evening meal. On the first morning of the stay I was unable to have breakfast due to having a hospital procedure early in the morning, but the very helpful staff supplied me with a bacon and a sausage roll to take with me.
There was nothing to dislike about our stay
The menu breakfast is lovely. The full English needs improving.
The swimming pool small but clean and nice.
1) Rooms dark and damp smelling.
2) Sliding door difficult to open.
3) Signal for television awful.
4) 1 bath towel for 2 people.
5) 2 plug sockets in the entire room, 1 set for television and fan and other kettle and a spare pathetic.
6) Staff had no interest in being of assistance.
7) Breakfast on Sat was packed but only 2 servers.
8) No coat hangers or drawers.
9) No where to put a suitcase.
👍👍👍👍
How friendly and helpful the staff were
Ideal country setting
Air con in car was freezing, too cold
The room was large with nice bathroom a balcony that looks over golf course and surrounding countryside.
I was on first floor no problem as there was a lift, exceptional good value for money.
Grounds
The rooms were close together and big noisy doors
Swimming pool was tiny and unkept, not too clean and in a glass conservatory so super hot and smelly
Clean
