Pros:

Great location, we parked right outside, room had a great sea view and we were lucky enough to watch dolphins from our window. Room was clean and well presented.

Cons:

Dining tables need a little more care please - sticky tables are a little off putting. Communal areas of the hotel are a little bit grubby and down at heel.

Pros:

Location was great and breakfast was excellent!

Cons:

The interior room was musty and too warm, and there were no windows that could be opened. If I were to come back, I would probably pay up for one of the harbor-facing rooms.

Pros:

The hotel staff were so welcoming & helpful. Relocated us on the 1st night to a suitable room. Lovely food in the restaurant. Great location in the heart of Tobermory

Cons:

1st room we were given had no window just a skylight. Unsuitable as we were unable to close it & close the blind.

I would never recommend or return

The location

Cons:

After several conversations about our choosen types, and various replies saying no problem we did not receive what we wanted. Even on arrival I said we wanted 3 doubles and 2 twin bedded rooms the receptionist who couldnt even bother getting out of her seat and speak to us properly behind a high reception said that is what we have to find 4 doubles and 1 twin meaning 2 blokes had to spend a night in one bed and was very uncomfortable for them. The decor was not good and the velux windows in our room 8 was filthy and was unpleasant to look up from our bed. Furniture and fittings not matching and no TV remote for the TV. After going to reception it was clear they had no intemtion of helping us and couldnt give a damn

Lovely hotel, great location, slightly disappointed with breakfast not being “made to order” as that was one of the main
Pros:

It’s right on the front @ Tobermory , a really lovely room.
Clean & very comfortable.

Cons:

Last time I stayed the breakfast was made to order, just a buffet now. The breakfast was decent but better to be as it was pretty dry my first morning ( went about 9am)
The music at 7.30 in the morning was way too loud & completely wrong choice .
Staff complied when I asked for it to be turned down.

Nice hotel with budget options also available.
Pros:

This was a basic single room with separate bathroom and was fine. The main hotel has better rooms if you require that. It is often very hard to find accommodation on Tobermory and I was glad to stay there.

Staff Friendly but room basic.
Pros:

The staff are friendly and they gave us a breakfast pack as we had to leave early for our ferry. Location is excellent as in the middle of town. Restaurant had gluten free food.

Cons:

The room was very basic and the window was up high so there was no view and hard to open and cover the window. There was only a chest of drawers to put anything on as the side tables were small. It would be great if there was a small fridge.

Fantastic staff, room left much to be desired, and the breakfast was abysmal

The room was cold and had no heater.
There was also a damp smell, and wall paper coming off the walls
